For the better part of this month, any time someone said ‘Nike Air Max 1′, there was a good chance they were referring to the extremely popular and woefully limited Parra x Patta design. Here’s another ’87 that a good portion of our readers won’t be able to rock, but for entirely different reasons. This Nike WMNS Air Max 1 is a sure thing the moment you lay eyes on its white/grey/black base with select red hits. Only problem is, these are a womens release which means guys gotta add 1.5 to get their size, and anyone with mens 11 or above is outta luck. If you can get into these, no matter your gender, this is a hot pair for the warming weather, and you can grab them from i-kix on eBay.

Before the Hyperdunk 2010 debuts this summer, there will be another new edition to its Flywired family. The Nike Air Max Hyperfly represents almost every little niche that currently exists within Nike Basketball and combines them into one heckuva nice team shoe. You get the aforementioned space-age side panels, sleek lines and of course, a Max Air cushion in the heel. Perhaps most interesting of all is the 5/8 cut, which has the heel a little higher than, say, the Hyperdunk Low, but puts the ankle up high like the rest of the Hyper- series. This Chicago-style colorway should hit Foot Locker next month, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on the new Nike Air Max Hyperfly.

Round 1 of the Sneaker News March Madness Sneaker Tournament is officially in the books, and although most of the favorites advanced with ease, as with any survival of the fittest tourney, there were bound to be some upsets. There were a few tight battles, especially in the 4 vs. 5 matchups, with the Air Foamposite One topping the Air Max 90 and 6 seed, Kaws, beating out the Linens without breaking a sweat. As you can see, the choices will only get tougher from here as some definite heavy hitters will be facing off in the Sweet 16 round that will be taking place all this week. Check out the Round 1 winners after the jump and stay tuned later today for the start of the Round 2 voting.

After the Air Jordan 2010 was showcased throughout the 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend, the highly anticipated 2010 flagship made its in-game NBA debut on March 2nd, when Dwyane Wade wore the W3LCOME HOME Air Jordan 2010 PE. Since then, Wade has worn a number of colorways of AJ2010, like this latest Miami Heat colorway. The upper features white and red, with a blazing yellow on the sole. The NBA Playoffs are right around the corner and when April comes, expect quite the selection from Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball. Working clockwise from the top-right, you’ve got a hot new white look for the Air Jordan Alpha one, followed by the long-awaited ‘Detroit Pistons’ Air Jordan VI Retro. There’s a grey/white/red pair of Jordan Classic ’91s, plus the new Grape Spiz’ike Spike Lee himself wore at a recent Knicks game.
Last, but furthest-from-least are perennial MVP candidates’ Kobe Bryand and LeBron James’ lates sneakers. For Bryant, it’s the Zoom Kobe V POP and its crazy geometrical overlay, while Bron-Bron gets a super-clean white/black LeBron VII P.S. March Madness brings April heat, isn’t that the saying? The main thing to listen to is Sneaker News, so we can keep you up to date on all of these shoes, which are set to hit stateside retailers in April 2010. via Gallery2

Nike Air Force 1′s in canvas are pretty rare, and in kids sizes, even rarer. That’s not to say that this new pair of AF1 Low GSes are going to blow up on eBay or anything, just, that here’s your chance to give your lil ones some head nod-inducing kicks. Set for an April 2010 release, these mini Uptowns get pure white leather, except the heel and toe where cream colored canvas comes in. You won’t be able to keep em clean, but these’ll still make a great gift when they hit next month.

Canvas isn’t exactly the most up to date material to use on a running sneaker, but adidas Originals proves that it can still be a perfect choice. The new adidas ZX77 is a runner so much like the ZX8000 that sample pictures were labeled as that Three Stripes modern classic. As it stands, this is a new model with a streetwear lean, and it looks as if the tongue tag has been enlarged quite a bit since our first look. Pre-order a pair before they change any more; these just popped up at UK retailer End.

Last time the boys over at Size? released on a sneaker collaboration, they goofed on the whole scene with a ridiculous if hilarious size-20 pair of Pump20s. This time, their inspiration is every bit as literal, just not as self-centered. Fresh off the unveiling of another new teamup with New Balance, here’s our first look at the Size? x Nike ACG Pack. This pack encompasses 20 years of on and off-road running by applying quintessentially-ACG colorways on the Air Mariah and Lunar Mariah runners. Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you up to date on this dynamic duo. via Suede&Mesh

Half of the Nike Sportswear Six Collection Dunk High ACs just hit retail. Though each of the three is part of a collaboration between a local artist and NSW, it looks like one good designer could have come up with all three. Each features a one-color canvas upper with white accents and a nice splash on the foxing band. For the Brazil Dunk, it’s black with a lil green, whereas France and Holland go with red and orange respectively, sharing a blue stripe. If you’re in the NY area, head to 21 Mercer and grab em before they’re gone.
