Reebok Freestyle Satin Pack Fall/Winter 2010

With old school bling eeking out its death rattle, streetwear looks to new ways to ‘shine’ without being gaudy.  Reebok is taking a step in that direction with this new Satin Pack of Freestyle midtops.  There are grey and purple pairs, both of which have a sort of colored chrome look, thanks to a satiny material covering most of the upper.  Expect this to be a trend for the upcoming seasons that a bunch of companies will try out, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via Provider

Nike KDII (2) Black White Purple Yellow

The Phoenix Suns have been on a hot streak since power forward Amar’e Stoudemire started wearing the Nike KDII (2).  Whether Kevin Durant’s signature shoes become an NBA-wide staple like Kobe and LeBron’s sigs is more a matter of time than a real debate, and here’s a Lakers-colored version in case Andrew Bynum needs something to wear to rehab.  All KDIIs are pretty sleek and relatively simple, but these stand out thanks to white patent leather on the midfoot strap and ‘mudguard’ area.  Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you updated on these and all Nike Basketball signature sneakers.  via FC.T

C. Williams x Project North Nike Air Max Moccasins

Visvim has made its name in Japan and abroad by applying, among other styles, very distinctly-Native American design elements, to familiar silhouettes.  As for your after market modifications, go see Toronto’s C. Williams.  His retail spot, Project North, specializes in customizing kicks, in this case, moccasin-izing your favorite Nike runners.  Williams did two pairs each of the Nike Air Max 360, Air Max 90 and AM1, all with insanely intricate and frilly designs.  Be sure to take a look at the detailed images after the jump, cos these defy description.  via FRESHNESS

Nike Air Max Hyperize Black Blue June 2010

While they lack the scissor-n-net tongue tag that designated the March Madness Pack, here’s another Nike Air Max Hyperize that could help NCAA contenders Duke and/or Kentucky.  Instead of that collegiate theme, these are seasoned pros with the ‘AIR’ tongue tag that marked the recent Air Attack Pack and a few retro releases from Nike Basketball.  Details aside, this is a shoe with potential to compliment almost any uniform (or gym clothes) you could throw at it, and they’ll hit Nike BB retailers like Foot Locker this June.

Nike Hyperdunk UConn Huskies Womens PE

No school has matched UCLA’s men’s basketball tradition from the 1950s & ’60s, but the UConn women’s program comes closest.  In the last 20 years, we’re talking 16 Big East Tournaments, 10 Final Fours and on six different occasions, the lady Huskies have cut down the nets under Geno Auriemma.  Connecticut is currently riding a women’s-record 71 game winning streak, and if they can win another NCAA Tourney this April, they’d be in prime position to break the Bruins’ all-time record of 88 in a row early next season.

They’re not looking forward, though, and these new Nike Hyperdunk PEs should keep them firmly rooted in the now.  They’re just like the men’s PE, except without all the disappointment.  Tune in tonight to see UConn take on Big East rival Temple, wearing their Nike Hyper Elite uniforms, along with these dope player exclusive sneakers from Nike Basketball.

Nike LeBron VII (7) Low Rumor Pack | Available

While Jay-Z is sitting courtside at the Knicks and Nets next year, will he be giving high-fives to LeBron James?  We know the Nets are moving to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, but where is the New York edition of the Nike LeBron VII Low Rumor Pack?  NJ/BK’s kicks are here in red, as are grey and brown versions for CSKA Moscow and the Cleveland Browns, respectively, but the blue NYK version is conspicuously absent.  Whether this is some sort of hint remains to be seen, but we’re certain that the three non-Knicks pairs from the L7 Low Rumor Pack just hit NikeStore.

New Balance 580 Fluro Croc

The New Balance 580 is a design with just the right amount of details to be perfectly balanced.  This makes it a favorite for collaborations and/or themed designs, and while this one isn’t an official team-up, it’s stunning all the same.  The latest NB 580 rocks a combination of greys/silvers and white, plus a few choice hits of neon green and yellow.  New Balance is no stranger to gradients, even on the 580s, but this one is done particularly well, with solid colorblocking on the medial midsole to balance everything out and a reflective ‘croc’ section to keep things interesting.  No word yet on a stateside release, but stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via Kenlu

Nike Air 180 White Black Cyber Yellow Detailed Images

Unless you can get your hands on the Easter Egg Pack from 2006, there’s little chance you’ll find a shoe springier than this new Nike Air 180.  These new 180 runners are done in the unbeatable suede and mesh combo, and the addition of neon-ish green and black accents to an otherwise white base is equally untouchable.  Take a look at more angles after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on a stateside release.  via TrustNobody

Nike LeBron VII P.S. Black Red Release Info

Never one to stay a particular footwear course for too long, LeBron James will go with an entirely new shoe for the 2010 NBA Playoffs.  Bron used to rock Nike Zoom LeBron Soldiers (starting the year after the 20.5.5 drop during his first playoff run), and even though we saw several candidates for the ZLSIV, *and* it’s still dropping at retail, it looks like LeBron won’t rock the Soldiers this postseason.

Instead, here’s the aptly named Nike LeBron VII P.S. (PostSeason).  It looks pretty similar to the Air Max LeBron VII, save it’s non-Max Air sole, a bigger tongue, and a Zoom LeBron VI-like heel pull.  Some have said it looks like the Air Jordan XI thanks to its patent leather mudguard, and when you see the carbon fiber arch support, this likely won’t change.  But this is no retro, and you can expect them to hit Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker just before the march to the Finals begins, on April 17th, 2010.
