Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter 2010 Preview

Jeremy Scott has built as much of a reputation in the sneaker world over these last few months as he has in clothing.  While the fashion world is filled with flamboyant over-the-top looks that are the cloth equivalent of concept cars, J.Scott has managed to push his insane designs to huge retail success.

Even the all-black boots he has upcoming for F/W 2010 are totally unique, thanks to an ornate design embroidered on the tongue.  It’s somewhere between the frills on a matador’s jacket and a Christmas ornament, and that should give you an idea of how crazy the rest of this collection is.  Take a look at more teaser shots from the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter 2010 collection after the jump.  via FRESHNESS

Saucony x Limiteditions Barcelona Preview

It’s very rare for Saucony to make headlines at Sneaker News. Saucony is very successful in their purpose; the Saucony Shadow and Jazz are favorites among retro-runners and hipsters, but sneakerheads get their fill elsewhere. Is it because of a lack of variety? Not enough special colorways or collaborations? Well, that’s about to change; check out the upcoming Saucony Limiteditions collaborations, which features some classic Saucony models with select materials colors. Saucony aka The Brand with Three Dots will definitely make some more noise in the sneaker game, so check back with Sneaker News for more information.

Nike SB Dunk Low Quickstrike Larry Perkins

Is this upcoming Nike SB Dunk under the Witness Protection Program? First off, the “Chirping Bird” name has been changed; this upcoming Quickstrike has been renamed to Larry Perkins, the name of the skater that inspired the colorway. Secondly, the Larry Perkins Nike SB Dunk underwent a transplant as the Chirping Bird mechanism as been replaced by one that makes telephone ringing sounds, as Larry Perkins was known to be dialing up other skate-pros and magazines. The overall design, colorway, and material use remains, but the identity has seen a vast alteration. These are expected to drop on March 20th at select Nike SB retailers, so have your local Nike SB spot on speed dial and lock down your pair. via Martini.

Nike Pegasus 89 Grey Blue Black Pink

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new Nike Pegasus 89 hit retailers, but this pair was worth the wait.  They go with the neutral white/grey/black trio so an electric blue comes in on the laces and ankle appears extra-bright.  Add in just a couple touches of pink and you’ve got that perfect early-90s-but-now look that Nike has perfected of late.  Grab a pair for yourself from JD Sports.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Rice HS PE @ House of Hoops

It remains to be seen if any of the current Rice High School Raiders will make it to the NBA, but on Saturday, they’ll get just a taste of being up with the big boys.  That’s cos the Nike Zoom Kobe V Rice HS Away PE will be releasing after their season has ended.  The yellow and green colorway might be a tough match for your everyday wardrobe, but any Kobe collector should head over to House of Hoops on Saturday, March 20th and pick em up.

Probus NYC x DC Shoes Admiral Sport Probot

DC Shoes LIFE Collection is anchored by the appropriately named Admiral hightop.  It’s been a staple for the past couple years, so DC has decided to add a little twist.  Set to be unveiled at a public event at ProbusNYC, the DC Shoes Admiral Sport will debut in its ‘Probot’ pack with the new ankle strap.  That’s probably the first thing you’ll notice, but a closer look reveals a revamped silhouette that’s all at once brand new and totally beholden to the Admiral.  If you’re in the area, head over to Probus tomorrow, Thursday, March 18th at 7pm.

Air Jordan Icons Ray Allen + Joe Johnson PEs @ House of Hoops

Here’s the latest for two guys that are as blessed as any athletes we’ve ever seen, at least in terms of footwear.  Jordan Brand keeps shooting guards Ray Allen and Joe Johnson in the freshest kicks, so it’s not a huge surprise to see their Air Jordan Icons PEs hit retail.  Both pairs of Icons are done in glossy patent leather, with Ray’s going the green route we saw a couple weeks back and JJ’s looking an awful lot like Gerald Wallace’s Dunk Contest PE.  You’d probably want to be more successful than GW3 was on that fateful night, so get a plan in order to hit House of Hoops this Saturday when both pairs drop.

Nike Hypermax 2010 Carbon Fiber Lakers

When you think “full carbon fiber basketball shoes”, you might think of the Nike Air Flightposite Carbon Fiber that fetches over $1,000 on the open market. Check out this Lakers colorwayed Nike Hypermax 2010 which features full carbon fiber and flywire on the upper with a basketball-specific 360 Air Unit. If your saw our 2010 Nike Basketball Sample Preview, you might’ve seen the full carbon-fiber Hypermax but in a different colorway, but these days the Lakers uni seems to be the color palette of choice for Nike basketball. Check out the pics after the jump and grap a size 9 over at Osneaker.

Air Jordan Collezione Countdown Pack Clock

The Air Jordan Collezione Countdown Packs that released over the last two years had Jordan-heads going hog-wild over their favorite retro released drawn up in OG colorways. Many of the releases had devoted fans clock-watching and counting down the weeks, days, hours, and minutes up until the releases.

Now if you happened to OD a bit with the Packages and had a few spares, what could you possibly do with them? Check out this incredible over-sized clock using the Air Jordan I-XII, displayed at Opium in Barcelona, Spain. Nike SFB Special Forces Boot Mid British Khaki

The Nike SFB Boot is footwear designed with the battlefield in mind but destined for the streets. Created by Hiroshi Fujiwara (which should not come as a surprise given the SFB’s radical design), the kevlar-equipped Free-soled urban boot required no effort in being recognized as the most bizarre and head-turning shoe of 2009. However the newly-released Mid version of the Nike SFB is surely more street-ready than its super-high predecessor; in fact the overall design and silhouette is very similar to the Nike ACG Wildedge and other ACG/Mowabb releases from the earlier part of this decade. via FRESHNESS.
