Air Jordan Ol School III 5/8 Black Red | Available

Many of Jordan Brand’s Team Jordan Footwear Line-up takes fresh design with a hint of OG Air Jordan flavor. The Air Jordan Ol’School III 5/8 takes a number of design cues from Air Jordans of the past but still maintain individuality; the mountain-range midsole says Air Jordan VII while the air unit and colorway say Air Jordan IV. The Ol’School III has been more popular on the court than on the street, as some notable Jordan Brand NBAers have worn this model in games. Originally set with a $100 price-tag, the Air Jordan Ol’School III 5/8 can be yours for a fraction of the price from JBseller on eBay.

NBA Feet: Ray Allen Air Jordan Hallowed Ground St. Patricks Day PE

Each year, the Boston Celtics break out special uniforms to celebrate what’s gotta be the most popular holiday in their heavily-Irish-influenced city.  St. Patrick’s Day means green and gold like Notre Dame, and the Detroit Pistons couldn’t keep up in this fight.  The C’s stomped the D by a quarter-century’s worth of points, and shooting guard Ray Allen made sure luck was on his side by wearing some hot gold-on-white Air Jordan Hallowed Grounds.  Green on the Jumpman insignia and medial heel clover embroidery made these a perfect match during last night’s beatdown, and you can see more photos after the jump.  via Yahoo!

Nike Hyperdunk Gonzaga University Bulldogs PE

Just like Texas, Gonzaga University is a Nike Basketball school with an 8 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.  And just like the Longhorns, the Bulldogs have a dope Nike Hyperdunk PE to take to the courts.  For whatever reason, the tournament committee loves to send the Zags 3000 miles east, but their Hyperdunk PEs are ready for wherever they might play or whatever they might wear.  This pair sports a dope navy-to-white gradient on the red-Flywire-equipped side panels.  Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more NCAA Player Exclusive sneakers as we roll toward Indianapolis.

Reebok Jean Michel Basquiat Pack Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

Going with an ongoing capsule for a number of seasons now, Reebok is to release a pack inspired by the contemporary art of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Somehow we ended u seeing the Fall/Winter Basquiat stuff before the upcoming season, but now we get to see the full Spring/Summer lookbook. The S/S’ aesthetics are specifically taken from Basquiat’s 1981 Untitled piece, also known as Suite of Fourteen Drawings. The pack will consist of an Omni Pump Lite and BB4600 Hi, as well as an Pump Aerobic Mid Lite Trainer Mid for women. In fact, you may have already caught a glimpse of the Omni Pumps, as we gave a quick glimpse last Summer. The pack will coincide with tshirts that also fit the design of the sneakers. Dropping this month at select Reebok retailers.  via Provider

Nike Air Max 97 Retro Metallic Silver Red Available

At a glance, the Nike Air Max 97 and AM95 couldn’t be more different.  Then, you consider the tiered design theme and look at something like the upcoming Air Max 24-7, and a lightbulb turns on in your mind.  Another major similarity: the OG colorways seem to be an annual retro release at this point.

Just like the OG Neon Air Max 95, the ‘Silver Bullet’ AM97 dropped last year as an international release, only to be re-retroed again this year.  Stateside sneakerheads will be overjoyed to see this sleek metallic silver runner back on store shelves, and they’re available now from WEST NYC or you can get yours on eBay.

Nike Hyperdunk Low Aaron Brooks Home PE

World-class point guards Deron Williams and Steve Nash have both shown favor to the Nike Hyperdunk Low this season.  Each of those guys has other signature kicks, but it’s the Hyperdunk Low that has them coming back for more.  But not this pair, lest they be smacked with a fine from Commissioner Stern’s office.  No, this pair is actually a player exclusive for Houston Rockets guard Aaron Brooks.

The diminutive University of Oregon alum is no stranger to dope Nike exclusives, but this pair is decidedly calmer than some of the Ducks’ Nike stuff.  They’re a simple red-on-white, plus the ‘AB 0′ logo on the heel to remind you that these are hands-off.  Given Brooks’ standing as a good, but not great PG, it’s probably unlikely that these will ever hit House of Hoops or any other retailer.  Enjoy some more pics after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via in52

Dinosaur Jr. x Nike SB Omar Salazar Pro Model

If you want the Dinosaur Jr. x Nike SB Dunk Highs from 2007, be prepared to shell out upwards of 5 bills for a deadstock pair.  How much their latest collaboration will sell for, largely depends upon its availability.  The Dinosaur Jr. x Nike SB Omar Salazar Pro Model has a shiny upper just like the Dunk SBs, but they ended up totally different.  Instead of metallic silver, this pair is covered in a super-shiny patent leather with hologram speckling.  The Salazar’s signature Flywire heels are conspicuously absent from this pair, but a Dinosaur Jr. insignia fills the area nicely.  There’s no official release date on these yet, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via Brodie Harvey’s Twitter

Nike SB Dunk High 4th of July/Born in the USA

However unfortunate, the first thing that comes to most people’s minds when hearing ‘New Jersey’ these days, is the cast of MTV’s massive hit reality show.  That situation might change, cos Nike SB has something special planned for this summer that brings together some of the region’s key influences.

The Nike SB Dunk High NJ/USA appears to be a take-off on the iconic cover from Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 album, Born in the USA.  This pair of SB Dunk Highs goes with a darker denim than what the Boss was wearing, but the striped rear panel clearly echoes that photo’s American flag background.  So by using black, Nike SB managed to make a shoe that’s ‘patriotic’ without going the cheesy route.  You know there’s going to be a ton more discussion and photos before the Quickstrike release that will be hitting NJskateshop at the very least, so stick with Sneaker News for the latest updates.  via @harvington // NSB.org

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 Black Varsity Purple Del Sol Summer 2010

If Kobe Bryant had decided against the low-cut ‘experiment’ that was last year’s Nike Zoom Kobe IV, there’s a very good chance his Zoom Kobe V would have looked like this.  KB24 rocked Hyperdunks and Huaraches long before the ZKIV or ZKV came out, so this Nike Hyperdunk 2010 would be right up his alley.

This black Lakers colorway makes it even more obvious that what we’re seeing is very similar to a ZKV sole with the most cutting-edge Hyper- series upper available.  In this case, cutting-edge means that the Flywire strands are embedded directly into a TPU upper, meaning the translucency that has marked the series is possibly coming to an end.  In any case, this pair will hit at Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker this summer, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.
