Sometimes we sit back and dream about our favorite sneakers in our favorite colorways, and this past February we saw two great concepts thought up by Premium Pete. Apparently the Nike Air Foamposite One is a favorite of his, as he’s managed to put another idea onto paper – the ‘Day and Night’ Air Foamposite One, or the “Glowposite”. His mock-up of the Foams (with the help of his designer @dsicle) features an all 3M upper with a glow-in-the-dark sole, allowing it to brighten up at night and when its hit with flash. The Nike Dunk Gyrizo BMX Pack was first introduced in 2008 as a performance shoe meant for the BMX Sport which entered its first Olympics as a recognized sport. It features an elevated toe, custom traction, and strap at the upper in-step to optimize comfort for biking. This never-before-seen colorway of the Nike Dunk Gyrizo BMX is inspired by Nike’s outdoor product line known as ACG; it features a speckled midsole, trail-inspired laces, and ACG branding on the tongue-tag and heel-tab. Jay-Z continued his The Blueprint 3 Tour in Los Angeles, California on Friday night and was joined on stage by his friend and longtime producer, Swizz Beatz. While HOVA has been seen wearing the Radii Footwear Moon Walker sneakers in Black and White at a number of his shows on his current tour, Swizz Beatz was spotted wearing a pair of the recently released Air Jordan Spiz’ikes in Black and Varsity Red from the “Fresh Since ’85″ Spiz’ike Collection.

Let’s take a closer look at the newest Nike Dunk High LE from Nike Sportswear’s April 2010 collection.  In the pictures we showed you earlier this morning, these hightop Dunks looked more than a little J-Pack-like, but it turns out the overlay is actually purple, not blue.  If you really wanted to stretch it, you could mention that the Flint and Bred Air Jordan XIIIs both feature a similar ballistic nylon as the purple parts on these, but take this shoe for what it is, which is one of the best combinations of the aforementioned super-nylon and tumbled leather that we’ve ever seen.  These are out now at select NSW retailers and NikeStore if you like to shop online.

The NCAA Tournament pool whittled down to the Sweet Sixteen after an exhilarating first two rounds. Although the Washington Huskies were eliminated, they were easily numero uno when it came to playing ball with style, as we saw the Air Jordan XI Space Jam and Black Cat IV on the court. Purdue was a heat-sleeper as well, as some of the Boilermaker squad wore the Taxi XII and Oreo VI. We covered all of Holiday 2010 in terms of Nike Sportswear, Nike SB, and Jordan Brand by providing sneak peeks at upcoming colorways and interesting hybrids, particularly the VII/XI LeBron/Jordan hybrid and the latest addition to the Jordan Brand BIN23 Collection. The Air Jordan 25th Anniversary I and II have already released, and tomorrow the III, IV, and…IX (?) will follow. Whatever happened to five through eight is beyond us, but who can really complain about the III, IV, and IX releasing all at once? It seems like it’s a bit too much to handle, which could explaying why some stores will carry just one model of the shoe. Foot Locker will only have the Air Jordan III, Footaction the IV, Finishline with the IX, but Nikestore and the Foot Locker House of Hoops will have all three available simultaneously. The Air Jordan 1 AJKO is finally arriving twenty-five years after its original release. While some retailers both brick-and-mortar and online have made these available early, the AJKO will officially drop tomorrow and should be available with easy access at Jordan retailers. Some have lamented the pre-yellowed vintage treamtment given to the AJKO but a little elbow grease in the form of a rubdown with some warm water and soap should get that yellowing right off. With the release of the three 25th Anniversary Air Jordan Retros, the last weekend of March is definitely leaving on a high note. If you’re unable to grab a pair in-store, pick up a pair on eBay.

Carmelo Anthony has had his own Jordan Brand signature sneaker since his sophomore NBA season.  The Air Jordan Melo M6 has served the Denver Nuggets scoring machine well this year, but his Future Sole addendum might never see the fluorescent light of retail shelves.  Another shoe that’ll never hit retailers: this Air Jordan Melo M5 sample from last year.  They feature a unique twist on the M5′s patterned upper, stitching ’15′ diagonally in alternating colors.  The script is like a bold Times New Roman, a typeface that’s pretty much the opposite of what JB typically leans toward.  It’s an interesting look to say the least, and you can check out more images after the jump.  via Kenlu.
