Michael Finley has had a long and respectable career that began with a potential recognized and tapped by Jordan Brand in 1992; just a year prior to that date, Finley won a contest held by his local TV station in which he won a chance to play one-on-one with Jordan himself. After the friendly game, Jordan said to Finley “Maybe i’ll see you again in a few years”. Jordan was right, as Finley began his NBA career in ’95 after being drafted by the Phoenix Suns. Finley garnered league-wide attention with his vicious dunks and high-flying acrobatics, but made a name for himself as a proficient scorer and valuable asset. During Finley’s days as a Maverick, he wore some great Air Jordan PEs, like this special rendition of the Air Jordan XV done up in blue and green with Fin’s name and jersey number. Jordan himself never wore the XV in a game, as it was released after his second retirement, but like in ’92, Finley was hand-picked to carry on the Jordan Legacy.
