The Air Jordan Alpha 1 released in January of this year as an updated version of the original. This sample you see here features a number of design cues not seen on the Alpha 1, like the pebbled leather toebox and graffiti-like print, but the ankle strap is the definite attention-grabber. An ankle strap is somewhat of an old-school add-on, which would make it a nice fit for the Alpha 1 (which, with the strap, looks a lot like the Air Force 25).
