With their roster decimated by injuries, Houston Rockets forward Trevor Ariza posted the best stats of his career in 2009-10. He’s nowhere near repeating as an NBA Champion (the Rockets are eliminated from playoff contention), but at least Ariza was stylish and comfortable this season. That’s cos he was rocking a Nike Huarache 2010 PE that quite frankly, looks a little bit more like a Bulls PE than the Rockets. Houston’s away jerseys are red with yellow and white trim, and that just goes to show you how ubiquitous ‘Bred’ really is when it comes to basketball sneakers. Far from mismatched, though, these are about as personal as it gets for Ariza, as ‘Tajh’ on the tongue tag shouts out his departed little brother. When you’ve got something like that to play for, we wouldn’t count out Ariza, fellow Nike Basketball endorsee Aaron Brooks and the Rockets for next year.
