The Nike Kobe Dream Season debuted last summer to commemorate a stretch where Kobe Bryant appeared in two NBA Finals, won one and grabbed an Olympic gold medal in between. Somewhere in between the Zoom Kobe V flagship and the M.S. takedown model, the Dream Season II finds its ankle height described by that same relationship between ZK5 and the previous Dream Season model. This 5/8 look with Flywire in the lateral side panels means that you could easily see them as a Kobe signature, while the black and purple colorway seals the deal. These will likely hit stateside retailers once the NBA season ends in early summer, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Kinstor

“Nike Traction?” Seriously? That’s the best they could come up with?

I’m not crazy about them. They look stiff and completely the opposite of the ZKV or even the Zoom Kobe MS. The Kobe line took a step backward unlike the Lebron line which took a step forward with the Lebron VII Low and the PS…but the ZKV is still the better shoe out of all of em!
