JGoods created this custom 1-of-1 pair of Nike Dunk High SB for Stones Throw artist, Mayer Hawthorne. Known for his eclectic retro approach of styling and fashion. JGoods used the ‘Creed’ Dunk Hi’s as the base for its khaki and white palette, changed up the Swoosh and toebox, and spruced up the entire shoe with an intricate plaid pattern for the heel paneling which finally topped off with Mayer Hawthorne’s branding. A custom pair just isn’t anything special without upping the ante, which JGoods does for the packaging. Not just any ordinary box, the encasing is lined with tweed all over with more branding screenprinted on the top, and features a look-see window for the shoes to be displayed. Kudos to JGoods. Check out the images, along with the video of the design process leading up to Mayer finally being presented the pair at a recent concert.
