The only LeBron James Nikes that don’t have his name in the title, the Nike Air Zoom Generation was released in 2003 to coincide with King James’ rookie year in the NBA. It’s for that reason that collectors simply *must* get all the AZG colorways, but the one pictured above has likely escaped your grasp. This Zoom Generation sample might appear vaguely similar to the beloved All-Star/’Wheat’ colorway at first glance, but a closer look reveals something quite different. The forefoot is done in a tri-toned camo print, with the rear sections covered in golden ballistic nylon. It’s quite a rugged look and something we wouldn’t mind seeing on future LeBrons, or perhaps when the AZG is finally retroed. In any case, enjoy some photos after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on all LeBron James sneakers. via Kenlu
