The Nike Dunk SE combines two classic footwear fixtures – the Nike Dunk upper and the popular vulcanized midsole – but we shouldn’t be hasty in deeming this combination a winner given Nike’s recent vulc-soled hybrid failures. Come to think of it, the Nike Dunk SE does indeed look bound for success, considering the Dunk shed its basketball roots and has gone completely casual. The Dunk SE could also be deemed as the REAL Nike SB Dunk Low, as vulcanized soles were intially thrust into the footwear scene by Vans skate shoes. Check out the three canvas-uppered 6.0 colorways that just dropped at 21 Mercer and let us know if the Nike Dunk SE is a classic waiting to happen.
