Nike SB Dunk High Eric Koston New Images

The Eric Koston Nike SB Dunk High we previewed last week may have seemed familiar, and that’s not just ‘cos it’s the second Thailand-inspired SB Dunk from their latest big signing.  Think back to 2004 and you might remember that actually, these look one helluvalot like the ‘Lucky’ Dunk High Pro.  In these new images, you can see that subtle tone differences aside, the Koston High has basically switched the overlay from metallic leather to suede, and vice versa for the underlay.  Even with all these similarities, details like a gum rubber outsole, red Swoosh outline and a complete lack of green make a huge difference.  Check out some more images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB release dates.  via N-SB

Nike Air Footscape Freemotion Black Neon Yellow

Since it was revealed last September, we’ve seen plenty of previews of the Nike Air Footscape Freemotion, and several have already hit retailers.  Somehow, through all of that, we never got another good look at the initial pair we showed you those seven months prior, but this is about as welcome as a (half-) surprise could be.  This pair of Footscape Freemotions comes with the two-toned design that both suits the Flywire-enhanced shoe and fashion in general, with this pair’s neon yellow and black palette among the most eye-catching we’ve seen.  Expect these at your local Nike Sportswear retailer soon; mita sneakers just got theirs.

whiz x mita sneakers x New Balance M576 Detailed Images

Being a ‘whiz kid’ typically denotes expert status, which is befitting each of the trio of collaborators responsible for the shoe pictured above.  The whiz x mita sneakers x New Balance M576 is the latest in a long line of tri-collabs with NB and (either) mita sneakers (or atmos), and has one of the most unique looks we’ve seen all year.  That’s primarily thanks to star-shaped perforation that reveal a red underlay, but the grey and brown upper is nothing to scoff at, given today’s trends.  Get up with your overseas connects on these, as they’re likely to be exclusive to mita, and possibly a few other high-end sneaker retailers in Japan.  via SM

Nike Tennis Classic Air Max 95 Inspired Neon + Grape

With a scant few other pairs releasing this year, these new Nike Tennis Classic lowtops are sure to stand out from the pack.  Then again, with their Air Max 95-inspired styling, these would be unique even compared to the entire history of the Tennis Classic.  We showed you the Neon pair earlier in the month and are pleased to find another AM95-like pair that resembles the ‘Grape’ 95s we previewed last week.  Both pairs just hit select European retailers, while the Neons are available here in the states at FinishLine.

CONS CTS Mid Grey Available

These CTS Mids were part of the CONS April releases we previewed not too long ago. A mid cut for a Chuck Taylor was such a foreign concept up until a year ago, but it has received much praise for its modern adaption. This particular pair features a perforated grey suede with a touch of red found on the tongue and midsole trim. These should have already hit your local shops, and if not, expect to see quite soon. via Kasina

Nike Air Max Hyperize Pau Gasol PEs LA Lakers Home + Away

Pau Gasol and the LA Lakers better get their act together, lest they become the 1994 Seattle Supersonics all over again.  This 1-8 upset would be even greater, given the Lakers’ defending champ status, so it’s a good thing the elder Gasol has his shoe game in order thanks to Nike Basketball.  They’ve given big Pau two Nike Air Max Hyperize PEs for a total of four from the Hyperize family that we’ve seen this post season.  The away pair in this duo features quite a bit more purple than the previous Air Max-less joints, whereas the home whites have been simplified about as much as possible.  Check out pictures of both pairs after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the latest in NBA Player Exclusive sneakers.

Nike Air Presto Mint Houndstooth

With its unique streamline look and undeniable comfort, the Nike Air Presto is a cult classic. Many of you are happy to see the upcoming colorways that we teased the other day, but here’s another pair we teased that will make some buzz. Featuring a refreshing palette of cool mint, surf blue and white, the sock-like upper wears a houndstooth pattern. Some may feel the toebox and vamp are too plain, but such a pattern adds a bit of distinction- especially when it uses the mint rather than traditional black and white on houndstooth. No word on a release date, but we imagine they’d be available soon. via Dunk.cn

Mr. Cartoon x NSW True Colors USA Video

If you’re under, say, 30, it’s probably easier to count your friends that *don’t* have tattoos than all of ‘em who have some ink.  What your grandma used to say was ‘for convicts’ has risen to a true artform, and oh yeah, the commercial implications aren’t all that bad either.  Mr. Cartoon is proof of all that, a man whose artistic vision inspired by southern Cali life has been celebrated by more than just his clients.  He’s a well-noted sneaker collaborator and is back working with Nike Sportswear again on the ‘True Colors Artist Collaboration’ as the American rep.  NSW is holding events in NYC, Boston and Chi-town this week, so click the jump below for some teaser images and a schedule.

Nike Air Maxim 1+ White Grey Orange

We’ve seen several Nike Air Max 1s this year with a simple colorway and accents that only appear on the top eyelets, and now that motif is back on the updated version.  This Nike Air Maxim 1+ is about as simple as it gets when you get past all the Nike+, Torch and Flywire, opting for a white and charcoal grey look with orange on the aforementioned plastic parts.  It’s hard to imagine a cleaner look for the summer months, so you’ll be glad to know these should hit Nike Sportswear retailers soon, as they just touched down at Japan’s mita sneakers.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low White Vibrant Yellow Light Bone

Yellow is perhaps *the* key color for Jordan Brand this summer.  We’ve seen not one but two ‘Citrus’ Air Jordan IXs, not to mention the Vibrant Yellow AJ1 Phat Mids that just released last week.  Turns out they’re not the only Air Jordan 1 Phat we’ll be seeing with that white/yellow motif, but these Lows turned out quite differently than the other pair.  The Phat 1s pictured above go with a white leather upper that’s enhanced by metallic silver stitching, and while that looks pretty excellent, the sole is this shoe’s star.  A bright yellow midsole atop a smokey translucent outsole makes for a totally original look we’ve not seen on the AJ1, so check out some more images after the jump and keep it locked to Sneaker News for updates.  via Dunk.com.cn
