If you missed the ‘memos’ that are the recent Campus Chukka releases, here’s a written warning: don’t sleep on Jordan Brand lifestyle sneakers. The simplest name of the bunch, the Air Jordan L’Style hightop is back with the tweaked L’Style Advanced, and its monochromatic red design is sure to break necks. There’s a tonal effect from suede and mixing leathers with varying degrees of perforation, but the only accent colors come in on a redesigned ankle strap and front wing. A sign of good things to come, before you can grab a sample in US mens size 9 from cigar0330 on eBay.

The Flight 45 was named after MJ’s short stint as a minor league baseball player, so what about the Air Jordan Flight 9? For those of you who might not even have been born, Michael Jordan wore number 9 while leading the Dream Team to Olympic gold at the 1992 Barcelona games. Fitting, then, to see a colorway for the Flight 9 that combines basic colors in a way very similar to Google, Microsoft, eBay, and oh yeah, the Olympic Air Jordan VI. We previewed a black Olympic Flight 9 back in February, but these are truer to the Oly Six with their white patent leather upper. Take a look at some new images of this upcoming release after the jump, and you can cop a US mens size 9 sample from cigar0330 on eBay.

Bringing something new to the table, Nike invites the Air Max Hyperize to be the first basketball shoe to join the Air Attack Pack. Staying consistent with the rest of the collection, solid blocked uppers of black or silver get hit with the same colors seen in some of the other pieces from the Air Attack capsule. These colors continue into the full foot air bag to give these some serious pop. These are expected to drop some time in June, and be sure that these will go fast when they hit shelves. Take a look at the complete Air Attack Air Max Hyperize collection after the jump and stay tuned for more info.

It might not be the ideal time of year for dark brown kicks, but there’s no doubting the brilliance of this new Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Ellias Vernias. This shoe screams ‘premium quality’ from every angle, combining a variety of luxe materials in the most skillful of ways. Vernias’ Bespokes go with a tonal brown mix of oiled leather and suedes, plus a scored dark obsidian leather on the tongue and Swooshes. This rich mix is held to a clear ice sole with a purple stitch that proves its designer has an eye for color. Check out some more shots after the jump and get up with Nike Sportswear in New York to create your own.

Sole Boutique holds it down for the San Antonio sneaker community and is now proud to present its new collab with Saucony. The Shadow 5000 is bombarded with an overload of graphic elements, colors and materials, it’s hard decide where to start. The black suede gets neon yellow contrast stitching, all overlaying slate mesh for the toebox and medial panel. You’ll find 3M on the Saucony brand panel, while the midsole gets a neon speckle. The aesthetics continue with snakeskin by the ankle, and Sole Boutique imagery etched on the back heel and tongue. And finally the shoe gets some more pop on the gel sole with neon, as well as for the secondary laces. A lot to absorb, we know. If you’re looking for a loud statement, these will be dropping in July with pairs limited to 100. via SF

Yet another classic that gets integrated with modern-day technology, the Trainer SC 2010 has received a lot of good feedback. Maybe it’s because of strong colorways accompanying them, such as the Pacman’s and OG colors. Some more dope CW’s to add to the mix will soon be on the way from the Air Attack Pack, as we see these SC Lows get the monochrome/bright accented effect. We haven’t seen many Trainers that fit this look, as it’s more common to see on Air Maxes and Dunks, but it seems to work just fine. These are reported to be releasing in June, so stay tuned for more details and check out more pics of the pack after the jump.

In addition to Common, Mario, Chris Paul, and various other celebrities who attended the 2010 Jordan Brand Capital Classic, female rapper, MC Lyte, was also in the building and she decided to break out a pair of her new Air Jordan 1 Alpha iD’s that she probably customized while attending the Jordan Brand 23/25 Experience during the 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas, Texas. MC Lyte decided to use a classic Jordan colorway and included her own hits of Grey. On the medial side of the shoe is her name “MCLYTE” stitched into the panel. Tell us what you think about MC Lyte’s Air Jordan 1 Alpha iD’s after the jump…

When we first heard of LeBron VII Lows, we didn’t expect to see pairs without the unprecedented Flywire element. But it seems a lot of our followers received it with open arms. Strong design, but for the most part, we’ve only seen cliche colorways. We recently showed an interesting sample that played upon reptilian skin and an ACG-like colorway. Now here’s something that might be more up your alley. Going with an all-black look, this LeBron VII Low sample features what looks to be pretty high-quality leather and a croc skin for the mudguard. Let us know what you think if these did in fact release. Collectors and luck size 9′s can cop this sample on eBay thanks to cigar0330.

How could the massive Nike Air Attack Pack get any bigger? Simple: just add in the newest of all Swoosh runners in neck-breaking colorways. Here are the Nike Air Max+ 2010s from the Air Attack Pack, a collection that straddles the line dividing the previous colorways we saw. On one hand, you’ve got 4 black pairs with a single accent shade, similar to the AM2009s in this pack, and on the other, an all-yellow 2010 with shades of the monotonal Air Max 1s. With Air Max 90s on the way later this summer, it’s safe to say that 2010 will be remembered for this sprawling collection. Take a look at some detailed pictures after the jump and stick with Sneaker News in case there are even more!

The monthly Eastbay catalog was THE choice of reading material back in the 90s; we’ve all surveyed each page, examining each pair and memorizing MSRPs and comparing colorways. But check out this Eastbay catalog from 1987, featuring shoes that released during one of the most memorable years of the footwear game. You can see that not much has changed with Eastbay’s page layout (wish we could say the same about the prices), and these scans of an ’87 catalog will reveal some original silhouettes that have reached legendary status. You’ll notice the Nike Air Trainer 1, Nike Air Max 1, Air Jordan II, adidas Forum Mid, and the Converse Weapon – all of which are as relevant as they come. This a truly a nostalgic treat, so check out what Eastbay was like 23 years ago by reading on.

It’s an even-numbered year, so they’re probably not going to win the title, but the San Antonio Spurs charged into the playoffs with that veteran knowledge of when to really play hard. Their new swingman Richard Jefferson knows a thing or two about the postseason as well, having lost three NBA Finals with New Jersey, including 2003 versus you-know-who. Now that RJ’s a Spur, though, he’s gotta look the part, and that’s where these Nike Air Max Hyperize PEs come in. Both are done in the typically-subdued Spurs style, with a mostly black pair for away games and white joints for their AT&T Center games. Check out shots of both pairs after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more NBA Playoffs Player Exclusive sneakers. via Nike BB
