This latest special production from the New Balance factory is the Limited Edition New Balance M576 ‘Made in England’ in three colorways. New Balance typically uses outrageous color-blocking and graphics on their great collaborations but for this occasion, the simplest of colorways were chosen. Navy Blue, Grey, and a light stone color is available with the UK flag on the tongue – remember NB’s main factory is located in Flimby, UK. Check out the colorways of the Limited Edition M576 and head over to mita to grab a pair.

On Wednesday night N.E.R.D., the trio known for its infusion of rock, funk, and hip-hop, performed at the The Fillmore @ Irving Plaza in New York City. Pharrell, Chad, and Shay – friends since adolescence – rocked the house without question, but we’re interested in their feet! Shay showed off a pair of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Grapes’ while Pharrell gave us a sneak peek at an upcoming Ice Cream shoe from his BBC clothing label. Chad also wore a slick pair of the Nike HTM Macropus Lite QS to round out the collection of kicks as diverse as the music trio. Continue reading for some extra backstage and performance images.

The Nike Dunk SE combines two classic footwear fixtures – the Nike Dunk upper and the popular vulcanized midsole – but we shouldn’t be hasty in deeming this combination a winner given Nike’s recent vulc-soled hybrid failures. Come to think of it, the Nike Dunk SE does indeed look bound for success, considering the Dunk shed its basketball roots and has gone completely casual. The Dunk SE could also be deemed as the REAL Nike SB Dunk Low, as vulcanized soles were intially thrust into the footwear scene by Vans skate shoes. Check out the three canvas-uppered 6.0 colorways that just dropped at 21 Mercer and let us know if the Nike Dunk SE is a classic waiting to happen.

For Carmelo Anthony’s seventh signature shoe with Jordan, the Melo M7, Nike has released a video first look. The Jordan Melo M7 has been created for Carmelo’s multi-faceted game whether its a quick first step or a pull-up jumper to a spin move in the post for an explosive dunk. This seventh Melo sneaker combines a unique blend of performance technology and innovative materials. Its unibody construction and exposed Max Air bag in the heel are key design features that result in a lightweight shoe. The M7′s upper features bold design lines that extend through the outsole providing additional flexibility and maneuverability on the court. This past January, Sneaker News reported a autographed and PE logo’d pair of the Air Jordan Ol’ School III, and we wondered if the FLASH3 logo would make its way on any other D-Wade shoe. It did make a return during the Playoffs, when Wade flashed the FLASH3 logo through the outer window of the Air Jordan 2010. Going back to the first FLASH3 sighting, Sneaker News stumbled upon a deadstock size-15 pair of the Air Jordan Ol’ School III with the logo on the heel. The rarity of this pair is unmeasurable but you can have these in your possession if you have roughly $850 to drop. via newinboxshop.

Two more First Round match-ups concluded yesterday night, as the never-aging San Antonio Spurs won their big Texas match-up against the disappointing Dallas Mavericks, who have seen First Round exits every season since their loss to the Heat in the’06 NBA Finals. The Nike Air Attack Pack was strictly running but upcoming installments of the Air Attack will include basketball kicks as well. The Nike Air Total Max Uptempo is already slated to be part of the summer Air Attack releases and joining the retro silhouette is one of Nike’s newest designs, the Nike Air Max Hyperfly. The colorblocking follows the similar black-on-secondary trim as seen on most of the other Air Attack releases, but thankfully this purple pair comes without ponyhair that was used on similarly colored pairs from before. You can expect these to release in June at select retailers such as Foot Locker.
