Air Jordan Flight Team White True Blue Light Graphite Varsity Red

Jordan Brand has quite a few dope team-oriented kicks on the way, not the least of which is an Air Jordan 2010 Team whose presence shakes the very foundation of JB release scheduling.  This new drop pictured above isn’t a direct extension of the AJ Legacy, but the Air Jordan Flight Team is a design that speaks for itself.  Sure, you could say the mudguard/heel wrap and side panel sectioning are similar to the in-retro-season AJIX, but the Flight Teams feature more visible Zoom Air than any previous Jay, plus a nice white, grey, red and blue colorway that’s almost like an All Star colorup.  Expect these this month, and probably very soon, as they just hit Japanese e-tailer LTD Online.

Nike Air Footscape Italy Blue Aqua + Purple Vivid Pink

With all these fusions, hybrids and new renditions of upgraded models, it’s nice to see something that was innovative in itself to be left in its purest form. A perfect example is the Nike Air Footscape. After seeing quite a number of Freemotion versions, here are two that take us back to the original form, still intriguing and style forward from other models in the game. Available in a tonal blue or purple with pink- both contrasted by black toe and heel blocking with white midsoles- these are a perfect look for the Summer occasions. Available at Limited Edt and other overseas spots, but you know to be patient and expect to see these pop up by you shortly.

Sneakerness Cologne 2010 Event Recap

Sneakerness is one of Europe’s hottest sneaker events and the 2010 edition just went down this weekend in Cologne, Germany.  There’s always a lot of heat on display at Sneakerness, but this year, the venue itself was also quite impressive, adding an air of sophistication and modernness that sometimes escapes the concert hall events elsewhere.  Tons of European heads turned out for the event, and since a picture is worth a thousand words, click the jump below for a video that does a good job of describing the whole vibe.  via SnkrFrkr

The Hundreds Summer 2010 Footware Collection

The Hundreds will drop a number of Footware pieces slated for the new few months.  Yes, we are aware of the misspelling of footwear, but thats how The Hundreds crew like to market their line.  Available will be various lows and mids, all getting popular color blocking on a choice of full canvas, suede or leather uppers.  Sticking to minimalism, they only go as far as adding a cement pattern to the midsole of the above model- available in black/red, grey/blue, or a watermelon-esque colorway.  What’s interesting about some of the higher cuts is the cleft by the top eyelet, an insightful design element obviously suiting to our lifestyle habits; most likely creating an intrinsic space for your pants to fall, enabling tongue-popping.  Expect these models to start showing up within the upcoming weeks.

Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat 20 White Black Red | Available

With Jordan Brand celebrating 25 years, it’s a perfect time to see how elements from the Air Jordan Legacy would look if time were a little less linear.  Here’s the Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat 20, which by its name and even the quickest of glances, reveals some inspiration from the last major JB anniversary.  These AJ1s go with a simple white, black and red palette, and its the Air Jordan XX-like laser etchings on the side panel that themselves, represent Mike’s history of achievements.  These are sure to be a quick seller, so get with a JB retailer soon, like Michigan’s Premier.

Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay Sample

Here’s a sample look at a new upcoming ACG model, the Lunar Macleay. From first glance, one would recognize elements from one of our favorites, the AM95, with a similar toe and lacing system. Though D-rings are thrown into the mix for the outdoor feeling, yet it doesn’t disturb the look or that its inspired by a runner. What’s also intriguing is profile featuring embossed vertical panels rather than the distinguished horizontal gradient we see on the 95′s. Lunar Lite midsoles may seem almost too delicate for the ruggedness of ACG, but Wood Wood’s Lunarwood TZ showed how the new midsole can not only change perception of the line, but also mesh futuristic technology with a cult classic series within Nike. And like the aforementioned ACG Lunar, the Macleay gives a touch of speckle trim on the midsole for accent rather than taking away from the silhouette. We’re not sure if every potential CW will feature reflective accents, but its also some nice highlights- indicative of AM97 influence. Overall, we can see this being a very big ACG for the new generation of ‘heads. No word on any release info, but stay tuned. via CT

CLOT x Star Wars x adidas Darksidestar

Edison Chen is a movie star in his own right, but the CLOT founder turned his attention to what might be the world’s best loved film series for their newest collab.  Hot on the heels of the Hoth Superskate is this new CLOT x Star Wars x adidas Darksidestar, a black and red Superstar shell-toe whose red accents glow in the dark.  These kicks will drop this Friday, April 16th at all JUICE locations, accompanied by two ‘Empire Athletic’ tees that EDC says, “all SITH lords wore this before becoming what they were.”

Air Jordan IX (9) Retro White University Blue | Release Info

It’s been 17 years already, so what’s a few more weeks, right?  That’s not how Jordan Brand sees things, and instead of making you wait for the upcoming University Blue Air Jordan IX Retro, they’re pushing the release date up a bit.  Previously scheduled for a June 2010 release, this AJIX Retro is true to form save for the slight difference from its original Dark Powder Blue shade, and it’s been bumped up for a May 29th release at JB retailers including Foot Locker.  You know how release dates change, though, so check out some new images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Nike Dunk High Grey Orange Green

The Nike Dunk Low Cl Canvas Pack featured grey canvas uppers with pastel plaid on the inner liner. This latest Dunk High is clearly cut from the same cloth, as same material and pattern is used to construct the upper of this Spring-time Dunk High. While the Dunk Low version went with a subdued white swoosh, the Dunk High goes with a bold Orange Blaze on the swoosh, tongue, and inner liner. You can pick these up now just in time for the season at Finishline, but continue reading for a nice coupon code to save you a nice chunk of change.

Nike Air Max Triax 94 Black Grey Infrared

The Triax series was a big hit in the 90s but moved closer toward performance running once it hit Y2K. This latest colorway of the Triax 94 Retro features a combination of black, grey, and infrared – white colorblocking short of the historic colorway that made the Air Max 90 so loved. The black midsole unites with the black mudguard, giving this pair more of an ACG/trail-runner look, and the Infrared on the rearl panel and tongue add enough color to brighten it up. These are currently available at a discounted price over at JDSports.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Marvin The Martian

The Nike SB Dunk Low is due up for a fatty injection in the tongue, but before it sheds its slim figure, the previously previewed green, black, gold, and red colorway known as the Marvin the Martian SB Dunk Low will hit a release. The pattern seen on the swoosh and inner lining was first thought to be Safari print but also serves to replicate the cratered surface of Mars. These are definitely on of the more creative colorways to hit the SB Dunk, so continue reading for an extra look and watch for these to drop at select SB accounts soon because they are available online at Korean e-tailer Kasina.
