‘Welcome home, Dwyane Wade’ is a greeting that could be said at a few cities this upcoming offseason. D-Wade and his Miami Heat saw an early exit from the 2010 Playoffs at the hands of the Boston Celtics, but the stress might remain for the Marquette-to-Miami superstar. Welcome home to Chicago? But Wade has declared during many Miami home games “This is my house!” while pointing to the American Airlines Arena hardwood floor. He sure has a tough choice to make, but for Wade and Jordan fans, picking up a pair of the Air Jordan 2010 W3LCOME HOME should be a no-brainer. These are set to drop on Saturday, May 8th at Jordan Brand retailers such as Foot Locker and the House of Hoops. Don’t forget to check out our Air Jordan Release Dates page to stay on top of all the drop-dates.

Breaking in a high-quality baseball glove can take months, years even to perfect. You’ll never have to tie a ball into, sleep on top of or soak these new Nike Trainer SC 2010s, but ‘Baseball Glove’ is a perfect moniker. In that sense, it’s a little closer to kangaroo leather than traditional cowhide, but these are done in a premium brown leather that should age extremely well (think Gibson Guitar Case SB Dunk Lows). All the details are here too, from the black trim to metallic gold stitching and Flywire and the ‘Bo Knows’ laser etching. One of the best shoes to celebrate the modern two-sport pioneer, these joints are available at Extra Butter.

New York’s Sneaker Con has grown into a bi-annual event, but before the second one of 2010 on Saturday, May 22nd, there’ll be another hot meetup for sneakerheads. About 900 miles south, DJ Greg Street will present Sneaker Friends 2010 at Compound in ATL. SF2010 should be a great time, hosted by ATF crew members DJ Clark Kent, Mayor and AllDay and will feature appearances from notable names like Marcus Troy and Franalations. Check out the full-size flier after the jump and be sure to head out to Sneaker Friends 2010 if you can get down to the dirty this weekend.

How do you go from a commanding 2-0 lead and a reputation for one of the best home court advantages, to down 3-2 with a decent chance of getting eliminated in a place where “There ain’t nothing to do”? Ask Mike Bibby, point guard of the Atlanta Hawks, who have managed that feat. And it’s certainly not cos of what’s on Bibby’s feet. The Air Jordan One6One7 Mike Bibby PEs pictured above offer another look at AJs XVI and XVII combined. Henry’s son was the first Jordan Brand guy in the league to rock this model and his tonal red and navy blue pairs are downright sick with their suede uppers. A-town b-ball fans gotta hope Bibby, JJ and the rest come up with a performance tomorrow night that matches these beauties, and in the meantime you can see some more shots after the jump.

This latest Vans Syndicate TNT II Mid features a camouflage print on the upper, but goes a step farther; the upper fabric is actually created by Crye Precision, known for outfitting the U.S. Army., so you know you’re getting the heavy duty stuff, and the inner is lined with Outlast fabric for extra comfort. So camouflage print is pretty fitting for this military-grade pair of shoes, as is the brown-colored midsole. You can purchase this great colorway of the Vans Syndicate TNT II Mid Cup S from Caliroots.

Last year a husband-and-wife duo of artists called Kozyndan laid their artwork on top of the Puma El Rey slip-on shoe; the illustrations comically displayed small monsters wreaking havoc in London. For the second go-around, Kozyndan add the Puma 917 Mid to the collection while two pairs of the El Rey return, but this time, it’s Amsterdam that is under attack. Continue reading to check out the Kozyndan x Puma Amsterdamn Rhapsody Collection; these have already hit Europe retailers and should arrive in U.S. retailers as well. via Kenlu.

These two new colorways of the Nike Terminator High Basic follows the simple approach used in the twonew pairs we saw not long ago. The men’s pair features a khaki and spice-red upper on a while base, and the second pair features a colorway all too common with Nikes but is actually made for women, fitting for the lady Laker fans. Check out the two colorways after the jump and pick these up over at mita, and we’ll let you know when these hit the states.

With summer right around the corner, sneakerheads strive to find kicks that match the warm weather holidays without being cheesy. Here’s your magic bullet in the form of a new Nike Dunk High with an all-red canvas upper. The leather Swooshes are a darker shade of red, which helps to keep the blue laces and white midsole from looking like a flag. A gum rubber outsole is a nice way to ground the whole thing, and while these should be out in the coming months, you can already grab a sample in US mens size 9 from langox510x on eBay.

All of the aerial feats Michael Jordan has managed to pull off on the court have been well documented, but have you ever had a look at his private jet? Here are some spy-shots of Michael’s private jet, colored up in a Tar Heels-inspired white and Carolina blue. The aircraft is noted with a N236MJ – 23 for his jersey number, 6 for his championships – and a Jumpman logo on the rear fin. What goes on inside Jordan’s private jet at 30,000 feet is anyone’s guess, but what we do know from a look at the outside is that Jordan travels in mid-air with style, both on and off the court. Check out the images after the jump for a better look at MJ’s other way to fly. Thanks to Vandal-A for the heads up!

Last week the folks over at Diamond Supply Co. gave us a heads up regarding an upcoming Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB collaboration. These Nike Dunk High customs you see here would be one helluva sophomore effort; check out this Dunk High customization done by BoyGeniusLine, featuring the classic Nike silhouette in the groundbreaking Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Tiffany’ colorway+material construction. Possibly one of the best Nike customs ever created, this altered Dunk High features the same Tiffany turquoise and the croc-skin on the upper, with a silver swoosh. BoyGeniusLine further displays his magic touch, as he went as far as giving these Dunks the Diamond Supply Co. tag on the tongue. Continue reading for a better look and let us know, if these did in fact release: which would be the better pair, the low or the high? via N-SB.

In terms of colorways, the Nike LeBron VII P.S. has been fairly limited compared to the overflow of Air Max LeBron VII colorways, but this newly revealed mock-up of the LBJVII P.S. might take the cake as the best of the entire bunch. Featuring the same colors used in the fuzzy replica of LeBron James, the MVPuppets x Nike LeBron VII P.S. features a seemingly quilted faux-Flywire panel with a maroon and a light brown fuzzy felt Swoosh. No word on a release, or if these are just a Player Exclusive for LeBron, but these are still an interesting twist on King James’s new playoff shoe. Will a MVPuppets Kobe V be in the works? Check out the images after the jump and let us know what you think. Via powderx94 on NT.

At a point in which Jordan Brand seemed to have run out of ideas, the Jordan label decided to create a hybrid shoe that fused designs from a number of Air Jordans, creating the Air Jordan Dub Zero. The Jordan hybrid experiment blossomed into a collection of other hybrids, like the Spiz’ike, Six Rings, and a number of others, firmly establishing new category of Air Jordan footwear to develop for the future generations. With the upcoming Jordan Rare Air, it seems as if JB didn’t want to go too far off on a tangent, because it’s quite clear what the Rare Air was taken after; elements from the Air Jordan 2-through-6 have made its way to this latest project, almost like a Jordan Spiz’ike from an alternate universe – a Bizarro to a Superman, a Feldman to a Kramer, you get the idea. Check out these new images of the upcoming Jordan Rare Air and let your voice be heard. via Kinstor.
