French artist So-Me is blowin’ up in the sneaker game right now. Not only did he design the France capsule for the Nike Sportswear True Colors World Cup Collection, but he’s the pen behind this collaboration with Etnies. The Ed Banger x Etnies ‘Ednies’ Pack has Pedro Winter’s record label offering three monochromatic pimsoll lowtops, each with an intricately-designed midsole. Ednies in white, black and red are limited to only 300 pairs and are likely a European exclusive, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via SF

It’ll be another two-plus years before the Summer Olympic Games in London, so that means athletes from around the world are training for the ultimate competition even as you read this. Here in America, there’s a good chance they’d favor this Nike Trainer SC 2010, which goes with a slight variation on the traditional Nike USA palette. You’ve got the red, white and navy we’ve come to expect here, but instead of gold, you’re looking at Varsity Maize on the upper eyelets and inside the Max Air unit. A nice reminder that there’s still a lot of work to be done before it’s time to earn the gold medal, these joints should be hitting retailers in the coming weeks, and are available now for pre-order from Eastbay.

What’s been referred to as the Nike Sportswear Six Collection has been trickling out over the past couple months, but both of those factors are about to change. First, let’s recognize that this is officially now the Nike Sportswear True Colors World Cup (Footwear) Collection. Also, the drops started as a drizzle, but Nike Harajuku in Japan just got the whole set from four of the six participants. Pictured above are Kronk’s South Africa Nike Dunk High AC and Air BW Gen II, and when you click the jump below, you’ll see even more: Mr. Cartoon’s USA Lunar Rejuven8, Zoom Tiempo and Footscape Motion, Delta’s Dutch Dunk High AC and Air BW Gen II, and So-Me’s France capsule containing a Dunk High AC, Lunar Rejuven8 and Air BW Gen II. Some of these have already hit in the states, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on the rest.

This new kids colorway of the Jordan Flight 9 certainly does pop; the color combo you see above might remind you of the original colorway of the Nike Air Classic BW dubbed ‘Persian’, although the shade of purple is considerably lighter. The soft shade of purple is used generously enough for it to be considered more than just a secondary colorway, as it is seen on the inner lining, midsole, and on the prominent logos. You can grab this pair over at Finishline, but continue reading for a coupon that will save you a few bucks for any Finishline purchase.

Ready to hear the latest hybrid name that, while a bit cumbersome, communicates exactly what the shoe looks like without ever seeing it? Well, if that doesn’t excite you, the images sure will, cos the Nike Lunar Presto Rejuven8 Low is among the best mashups we’ve seen this year. What you’ve got here is a LunarLite sole supporting a Torched-out Rejuven8 upper with the Presto lacing system. This trio should be among the lightest and most breathable runners to date, and the cool grey/hot lime colorway pictured above is straight fire (and ice?). Check out some more images after the jump and check back with Sneaker News so we can keep you updated. via Tenisfuki

The latest two-tone Nike Air Force 1 Lows to mix leather and woven textile are possibly the best of the bunch. Maybe that’s cos they’ve actually got three colors, and the balance provided by birch in between marina blue and white is just superb. Other than that, these are quite similar to the aforementioned run of Uptowns we showed you last week (especially the above linked Birch pair), going with smooth leather laid atop a woven base. If the others are any indication, these should hit stateside Nike Sportswear retailers shortly, and we’ll keep you posted for all Nike Air Force 1 release dates. via Nikeai

Just about a month ago, we gave you an exclusive inside look at a new JB hybrid that is set for a holiday release. The Jordan Rare Air collects elements of the Jordan 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Although fusing popular Jays isn’t a new concept, what makes this pair unique is that it was tooled in such a way that makes it a completely new shoe without making the original facets too obvious. Even more interesting is the creation of a fused midsole; a first attempt when it comes to hybrids. Though aesthetics obviously called from the 4′s and the 6′s, it isn’t a true mix between the two because of extra contour lines in the top half (maybe insinuating the AJ 7?). Looking back, it seems many of you are very skeptical of how this shoe will pan out. But here’s a look at another anticipated colorway for the holidays. White upper with white/black elephant and grey cement is certainly a different direction from the more subtle red pair we first saw. While these shouldn’t be out for another couple of months, RMK already has them up for pre-order. In the meanwhile, we’ll leave it up to you to voice your opinions on these.

Here’s a shoe that, if the LA Lakers aren’t careful, will resemble Staples Center real soon. The Nike Zoom Kobe V is back, and this time it’s a blacked-out design that uses a little dark grey to accent an otherwise shadowy design. The Nike color code speaks of Varsity Purple, but the only place you’ll find that is on the outsole. It remains to be seen if Kobe rocks these during tonight’s crucial game 5 against OKC, but one thing is certain: these will hit Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker in July.

We’ve already brought you a few previews of the ‘Baseball Glove’ edition of the Nike Trainer SC 2010 Premium, but none have truly done it proper justice until now. These new pics show off, not only the fine details, but also give a good indication of the quality of materials used to create this tribute to Bo Jackson’s days on the baseball diamond. As you can see, the shoe sports several different shades and textures of premium brown leather with Metallic Gold contrast stitching used to bring it all together. In addition to the luxurious materials, the ‘Baseball Glove’ SC 2010 also features a laser-etched “Bo Knows 1989″ graphic on the ankle, as well as the “1990-2010″ design that has also appeared on the heel section of some other recent Trainer SC 2010 releases. Keep reading for the best look yet at this intriguing new Bo homage from Nike, and if you like what you see, they’re available for pre-order now at Eastbay.

Another upcoming colorway of the Nike SB Blazer CS is inspired by the San Francisco Giants, but based on Brian Anderson‘s first shoe with Nike SB, the camo-uppered Nike SB Dunk High, we could’ve guessed that he’d pick a colorway inspired by the Padres. The Blazer CS is a ‘tweener, falling between the Low and Mid version of the Blazer, but this level of cut has proven to be popular amongst the Nike SB team. These are set for a June 2010 release so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more Nike SB info. via N-SB.
