Kobe Bryant’s fifth signature from Nike Basketball has offered some of the most satisfying colorways we’ve seen on the hardwood and here’s an upcoming release that’s sure to keep the trend afloat. The Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) pictured above comes to us in a new shade of indigo called ‘Ink’, but it wouldn’t be shocking if sneakerheads looked at these and thought ‘Eggplant!’ Irrespective of the particular shade of purple, these joints offer just enough variation from the typical Varsity Purple that they offer a novelty while still staying close enough to the Lakers’ uniforms that it wouldn’t be shocking to see Kobe himself rocking these sometime early next season. You can grab yours today, with a size 9 sample available in advance of the Holiday 2010 release, from cigar0330 on eBay.

Typically a novel way to see how clean your socks are, the window of the Air Jordan 2010 Player Exclusive pictured above offers a glimpse into what might have been. During the first decade of this century, Ray Allen earned nine NBA All Star Game nods, but he missed the midseason spectacular this year for the first time since 2003, largely because of sublimating his sharpshooting for the betterment of his Boston Celtics. Nine out of ten is as close to a lock as it gets in pro sports, so Jordan Brand had already created an AJ2010 Ray Allen PE for the 2010 NBA ASG, but Sugar Ray’s omission this year put these 2010s on the shelf and Dwayne Wade went on as the only JB baller to rock the AJ2010 during the NBA regular season. One of the most unique player exclusives you’ll ever come across, these size 14s are available from the.warehouse on eBay.

We saw a dope Nike Zoom Hyperfuse sample earlier today, and here’s another accent-on-black that flips the colorblocking script on an upcoming pair of the Low version. These new black and varsity royal mids aren’t exactly an inversion of the previous’ blocking scheme, but rather, these follow the same pattern as the black/volt sample and feature some of the Duke-ish shade shining through the black latticework upper. Another pair that we hope to see at retail whose release is questionable at best, you can grab a sample pair of these Hyperfuses from cigar0330 on eBay.

Rounding out the Jordan Brand Fall 2010 Collection is a small gathering of September releases. The month starts off with a new colorway of the Air Jordan Six Rings in a mix of silver/grey that also features a full-3M reflective upper. Another interesting release is the Olympic-inspired colorway of the Jordan Flight 9 which houses a multi-colored midsole much like the Air Jordan VI Olympic that released in 2008. We also get another sweet colorway of the Jordan V.2 Grown as well as a Bulls-inspired pair of the Jordan Pro Strong. Much more should be added to the September roster but with a mammoth of Jordan Brand releases in July and August, there’s no need to think too ahead. Check out the gallery after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for all your Jordan Brand Release Info.

They haven’t hit retail yet, but Rajon Rondo has played exceptionally well in his Nike Hyperfuse PEs this postseason. Here’s a sample pair of Hyperfuses that would play to an eager audience if they ever hit retail. Coming at you with the radioactive black and Volt combo, this pair of Hyperfuses maximizes their futuristic appeal by letting a bright underlay shine through the heavily-ventilated black upper. This pair also happens to have an XDR sole that’s durable enough for outdoor ballin’, which also seems to indicate that these won’t release, as the summer and fall season releases are already set. That makes these considerably more valuable, and you can cop the sample in US men’s size 9 from cigar0330 on eBay.

Another month starting tomorrow means another set of new drops from Converse Japan. By now, you know which models to expect from One Star’s Japanese syndicate, but the application is different with each series. Last month’s drops were typified by a range of monochromatic looks and they’re sticking with ‘simple’ for Summer 2010 with a number of two and three-toned looks, plus some tri-colored leopard print. Check out photos of the entire collection after the jump and work your overseas connect to cop these from select Converse Japan retailers.

Earlier today we showed you a look into the scheduled July 2010 releases, and to jumpstart the first month of the Fall 2010 Season, Jordan Brand focused more on newer models like the Jordan Air’s and Jordan Grown. August 2010 isn’t much different, as we get our eyes on some new performance models like the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor and its cross instep-strap like the Air Jordan VIII. The first colorway of JB’s newest hybrid design called the Air Jordan Rare Air. will also release. Other notables include the Jordan L’Style II, the Tribute line of the Jordan CP3, and of course the Retro of the original colorway of the Air Jordan IX. Check out the entire August 2010 Collection after the jump and stay tuned for continued coverage of the Jordan Brand Fall 2010 Collection.

Gallant efforts by both the Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns were not enough, as the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics emerged atop the heap and will face each other in the NBA Finals for the second time in three years and further lengthen a half-century long rivalry. All was well in Boston; ‘Sheed shed the Sharkalaid and went back to his Air Force 1 High and even Nate Robinson and his Air Max2 CB ’94 got some burn as well. Out West, Kobe and his injured finger – some compare it to Curt Schilling’s bloody sock – dawned (or “dusked”, rather) on the Suns and led his Laker team to a third straight NBA Finals appearance. The table has been set so check out the latest NBA Feet and let’s hope we get some more treats once the Finals roll around. via Yahoo!.
