Many Jordan-heads were bummed to learn that the 25th Anniversary edition of the Air Jordan XI would not feature the embroidered Jumpman logo that has always been seen on the ankle area of the shoe. A lot of people went out and scooped them up anyway, and now it turns out that the majority of those who went out and copped the crispy white Anniversary XI’s this weekend will probably now be even more upset to learn that 25 lucky AJXI consumers opened their box to find a special surprise. Not only were there tonal white Jumpman logos on the uppers, but they also have a special commemorative seal under the right insole. Only 25 of these special editions were randomly circulated with the rest, so we’ll have to wait and see who got lucky and who didn’t. Keep reading after the jump for a better look at two pairs from happy sneakerheads who got their golden tickets, and Jumpman logo or not, you can still pick up your Anniversary XI’s now on eBay.

Dumbass people (the girl in the vid). How can you not tell the difference between some authentics and some fakes? The XI's are the easiest to figure out.

I ordered a pair from footlocker.com and they will be shipped out soon enough. I hope my pair comes with the jumpman and the coin but if it doesn't then it's still all good. But it would be cool though.

Hoping one of my pairs shows up with a jumpman…
…I also wanted to point out that at least JB waited until after the release to announce this so the stock boys at Footlocker and Finishline didn't go through every pair and snatch them from the public.

Some of the 25th anniversary XIs have a blueish clear sole. Just because you haven't seen any doesn't mean it's not true. Don't sound ignorant.

I got a limited edition pair but it's from a different set. The soles are different on mine, they have a blue tint to them and it's got a numbered patch inside the tongue. talk about freakin lucky! How many different sets are out there people? And mine are fully legit, bought them from Footlocker, had them checked out and everything.
