It’s not exactly the cause for all this white-on-white celebrating, but the 20th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s first NBA championship is coming up soon. This June marks 19 years since ‘a spectacular move’ captured the nation’s imagination and started the most dominant dynasty since Bill Russell’s Boston Celtics. So how to commemorate such a momentous occasion? Simple. Take the shoe that MJ wore en route to the chip and color it up in the palette of the vanquished opponent. That’s the idea behind the Air Jordan VI (6) Retro ‘Lakers’, whose tri-colored stitching adds some nice depth to an otherwise black design. These are set to drop at retailers around the country a couple Saturdays from now on May 15th, but you can already grab yours from JBseller on eBay.

IM 50/50 ON THIS LOVE THE 3M BUT HATE THE STICHING AND THE AIR ON THE BACK (3 COLORS)…BUT NOT BEAUSE THE LAKERS JUST BECAUS THEY (JB) COULD JUST DESING IT BETTER…JUST PUT THE YELLOW JUMPMAN ON THE SOLES,YELLOW ON THE HEEL TAP AND PURPULE LACE LOCKS…AND NOW WE ARE TALKING…BUT THEY ARE A 6!!!! AND THEY REPRESENT THE 1 CHAMPIONSHIP ….NOT IN MY PRIORITY LIST (FIRST OG 2 AND POWDER BLUE 9)

got my pair yesterday and they are sweet as hell and good quality and who cares about the color man this sneaker is when jordan and the bulls wupped the lakers back in the 91 finals,it's a jordan 6 who can't go wrong on this sneaker and see the jordan 6 pistons the bulls beat in the 91 east conference finals and then the lakers in the 91 finals,these sneakers are a comemerative of jordans achievement against those 2 teams to win the title for the first time
