It’s probably one of the worst ways to clean your shoes if you care how they look, but Nike cares enough not to release a shoe if its design can’t stand up to your run of the mill Kenmore. That’s at least part of why the Nike SB Dunk Low Reese Forbes ‘Hunter Gatherer’ never made it to retail. Unlike the sturdy-looking Hunters that remain near the top of the Nike SB pantheon, the Hunter Gatherer was made of a super-crispy corduroy and sea-grass weave plus hemp macramé laces, which made them crack just from wearing. The sample design is considerably different than the released version, so check out more shots after the jump and let us know if you consider these on par with the original Forbes’. via N-SB.org
