Nike recently adds another location to its roster of flagships; its newest addition residing in the Sinpo Market of Incheon, South Korea. An optimal spot for retail, the new Nike Store towers over the corner receiving prospective customers from all angles. A nice fusion of contemporary with traditional, the exterior creates its own distinct look without being too audacious and sticking out from its surroundings utilizing wooden planks as molding and tiling. From the outside, it looks like the store primarily concentrates on basketball considering the giant murals of Kobe and LeBron. Another great feature aesthetically are the window displays, shaping mannequins to create dynamic athletic scenes to allure customers into the store.
For what it may lack in surface area, it makes up with in multiple floors, consisting of a wise floor plan that can display the hundreds of merchandise for the customers to seamlessly flow through the different sections without feeling too congested or department store-like. You’ll notice the interior is also garnished with the same wooden paneling as the outside. Of course it’s no surprise that customers can find every Nike product in almost every colors possible. As we suspected, Nike Basketball is a prominent facet of the Incheon Nike Store as it takes over the entire second floor. Imagery from outside carries inside with artistic photography of basketball’s superstars. Walking around you’ll spot some rare sneakers in glass displays, including the DMP 6 and Ray Allen Jordan Icons PE. All the best to the new spot in South Korea. via itsshoestime
