New Balance runners are easily the most famous (half-) British footwear of all time, but this new pair takes its inspiration from across the Chunnel. The New Balance 576 ‘France’ is among the boldest looks we’ve seen in 2010 thanks to its use of rich suede in a tri-parted colorblocking scheme that uses the 576’s natural lines to emulate the three vertical stripes on the French flag. There’s also a flag embroidered onto the heel sections and they’re available now at the NB pop-up shop at l’Imprimerie in Paris. via SU
