Jordan Brand released a sprawling Championship Pack in early 2009 to celebrate MJ’s six chips.  This spread gave new meaning to the Six Rings hybrid, but other than the AJ1 Phat Low, Air Jordan Legacy models were conspicuously absent.  These, then, are like MJ switching hands in mid air — a correction that gives us a look at the shoe that started a dynasty, adorned in the colors of the vanquished.  The Air Jordan VI (6) ‘Lakers’ will finally release this Saturday after quite a long buildup, but if you know what you’re doing, you can get yours a bit earlier than all of your friends.  For NY-area Jordanheads, head over to West NYC, otherwise, you can get yours now on eBay.
