Visions of Jesse Owens and Tommie Smith are all you need to prove that the US has been sending track and field athletes to the Olympics as long as the modern games have existed, but USATF is celebrating 30 years since their official 1979 organization. What better way to commemorate the occasion than a limited edition Nike runner? Here’s the new Nike Lunar Fly+ USATF Edition, the first item in USATF’s upcoming 1979 Collection. These new Lunar Fly+es go with the familiar red, white and blue palette, but whereas most Nike Olympic colorways go with navy blue, these joints are quite bright, almost like the Arctic Blast shade that appears on a recently previewed Air Max Wavy. Even though the next summer games are over two years off, these are sure to be a hot seller, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Katie Landry

These are pretty fresh. Nice summer shoe. Not to mention I love how lightweight they are. Feels like I have bedroom slippers on.

No thanks, they look comfortable but the shape looks weird too.
