Just over a week ago Sneaker News showed you a side-by-side comparison of the Varsity Red and Infrared colorways of the Air Jordan VI. Now that any doubt was erased by that video, here are some new images of the Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack with a focus on the packaging. “Infrared Pack” is more than just a nickname, as it is printed on the sizetag of the double-stacked slide-out box seen in previous Air Jordan packages. Each pair is also placed in a plastic covering with an Air Jordan emblem. This groundbreaking release is set for a limited June 19th drop with rumors of an Asia-only exclusivity – some Asian sneaker spots have already received them and plan on selling them via a lottery raffle. Won't the soles go yellow and crack if you keep them DS sealed in that Jordan bag? Ultimate dilemma for a super hyped pack. Break the seal and store properly or keep it DS but not for long.

This has to be the dumbest shit ever. A Asia only release JB? Really? Why don't they release them worldwide enough to go around and call it a day. All there doing is using the same retro 6 that just dropped and painting them a new color and new packaging. They are not losing money? While varsity, Oreo AND PISTON 6's sittin on out shelves! I am glad living in Japan.
Believe it or not, most of sneakerheads here will not go crazy for this pack.
They are not interested in "OG infra-red" colourway.

If it's Asia only then they probably doing the right thing.. Some of his shoes are too avaiable (specifically the flu games and og white and red 12s) and if they did the same hing with these it would be wack. Besides I got my Varsity reds anyway and I may get the white and varsity reds so I mught not be able to nab the OG but I still come out a winner..

they might. i know for sure if u have the bags air-tight, like shrinkwraping shoes, then the rubber soles will crumble after a while. i wouldnt have my shoes in bags anyways, just keep them in the box if u dont want dust or anythin on them.

nothing i dont think will stop a shoe from ageing. but if u keep them in a bag with no air/little moisture then u could end up with crumbled rubber soles and fuk up ur shoes. i wouldnt leave mine in bags…
