When Pierre-André Sénizergues’ Sole Technology, Inc. spun éS off of the successful Etnies brand back in 1995, Eric Koston was among their early stars. The éS Koston K1 dropped in 1997 and not only was its ‘E’/’M’ shaped upper an influence on other contemporary designs, it was so popular that Lakai remade them when they signed Koston in 2007. Fast forward to the present and this is still one of the most skateable designs ever, inspiring this concept rendition of a potential upcoming Nike SB Eric Koston Pro Model. This shoe looks to be essentially a hybrid of the K1 and Nike SB’s Zoom Tre A.D. model, and word is that it’ll replace the Tre come next summer. Where that leaves the Nike SB Future Primitive (FP) that we showed you last month is anyone’s guess, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on future Nike SB developments. via N-SB.org
