Austin Jermacans’ itinerary throughout the 2009 Future Sole Design Competition started with a sketch drawing and ended with Carmelo Anthony wearing his shoe in the NBA Playoffs. Needless to say, this short experience was a huge success for Jermacans hopes for the future. In this video produced by Sole Collector, we get a behind-the-scenes look at the arduous and rewarding journey Jermacans piloted himself through, from working directly with Justin taylor – the creator of the original Melo M6 – and getting feedback from Carmelo himself.
