In the sneaker word association game, Spike Lee’s ‘He Got Game’ will quickly induce responses of ‘Air Jordan XIII‘, as Denzel Washington’s character Jake Shuttlesworth wore the white/black/red pair throughout the movie. Needless to say there was a ton of heat floating around that film, but the other pair that deserves just as much shine was the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in White/Black-True Red worn by Jake’s son Jesus.
Fast forward to 2009; the Pearl Foamposite was released in limited numbers exclusively at House of Hoops to the dismay of sneakerheads everywhere. Not a year later, the Pearl Foamposite was confirmed for a release in later 2010, but a supposed wider release will definitely have Foamposite collectors foaming at the mouth to gather these precious gems. The Eggplant and Dirty Copper Foamposite were huge hits and even before the release, the Nike Foamposite Pro Pearl looks to be a strong contender for the Sneaker News Top 30 of 2010. No disrespect to the foamposite movement but the best part of this sneaker in this colorway is the bottom. The very 1st pic had me ampt then the rest was just ok. Coppers to me r the only ones worth gettin tho. I need more detailed pix of the cough drops to sway my decision…

Last year when these retroed, i rocked my OGs for like three weeks, just to discover the check on the right one fell off! I rocked em heavy in 98 when I got em, so no surprise, but I would love to get a new replacement pair!
