The ‘Pearl’ Nike Air Foamposite Pro stands as one of the biggest releases for the Fall 2010 season. Sure, they were out last year, but the few who were able to secure their pair are largely outnumbered by the majority who’d love to rock these iridescent white Foams if they ever got a chance. First pair or another on ice, there’s sure to be plenty of attention placed on these when they drop sometime between July and September of this year. Rajon Rondo’s been raging throughout the 2010 NBA Playoffs, leading the Celtics over the Cleveland Cavaliers and playing an integral role in his team’s current 3-0 stranglehold of the Orlando Magic. Moire and Torch-equipped versions aside, we haven’t seen a single new Nike Air Max 90 Current this year. It remains to be seen if all future Currents come with the Torch mesh toes like the pair that released this month, but it’s clear that this pair has no chance of reaching retail. These AM90 Currents are marked with a Fall 2008 sample tag, so they’re well past the point of release, but their black, red and white palette would be welcome if that ever changed. Keep reading for more pics of this US men’s size 9 sample that was floating around, but it looks like someone already grabbed them from dballaholic on eBay.

Now that you’re up on what went down at Sneaker Con, let’s take a closer look at what attendees were rocking on their feet. Without even looking into it yet, your guess is probably the same as ours going into the event- a tsunami of Jordans. The big surprise became how many AJ 9′s and how little Space Jams were present. Nike Basketball and SB were also in full effect, most of which were of more recent releases.
However we did see some people sporting serious heat including the Parra x Patta and Uruwa Air Max 1′s, OG Infrared 6, McFly Hyperdunk, Gundam Air Max Tempo, and Aston Martin x Zoom Kobe V’s. If you were still around near the end of the event, you might have scoped a fresh pair of 112 Pack LeBron VII’s worn by ATF member, All Day, It was refreshing to see some other brands getting some love; a common trend became a few of the Jeremy Scott designs for adidas. With growing popularity within streetwear, it was a bit disheartening to see how few Vans there were. We hope the next event brings some more diversity. Heineken launched their “Heineken Inspire” series of events this past weekend in Miami with the help of Miami’s own DJ Irie as well as rappers, Wale and Fabolous, who both showed up to the event rocking some unreleased heat! Wale who may have flew straight into Miami from Atlanta was seen rocking the same Green colored Nike Huarache TR Mid’s from his appearance at the Havanah Club a few nights ago. Fabolous on the other hand broke out a pair of the soon to be released Air Jordan IX Retro’s in Black and Citrus, which are scheduled for a July 3rd release at select Jordan Brand retailers in the US. For those of us who still have to pick up our shoes when they are released in stores we only have a couple more months before both the Nike Huarache TR Mid and Air Jordan IX Retro in Black and Citrus are available.

Yet another women’s pair that make dudes wish they had smaller feet. As much as the community loves to bash on hybrids, the Nike 24/7 has gotten some good reviews with its mix of Air Maxes 95, 97 and 2009. The clever tooling makes way for amazing colorways, including the strong designs from the Air Attack Pack. But close on its tail of good looks is this grey/black/purple mix, which becomes an instant no-brainer for many of our readers. Too bad its in women sizes. Already out, it looks like ATL’s Wish has some of you guys covered with larger sizes.

The Nike 6.0 women’s division has been running at full speed in 2010 with a ton of great colorways of the Nike Dunk High, but its the materials used that have us impressed. We’ve already seen denim and a fleece/sweatpant material used already, and this Nike WMNS 6.0 Dunk High appears to have a nylon/twill in use. The plaid textile in contrasting colors also make these pop but are united with a neutral beige swoosh, and a white mesh lining should make for easy and cool walking.
