The Nike Hyperfuse is perhaps the lightest and most breathable shoe of the Nike Basketball Summer 2010 line-up, and it’s already been chosen as the weapon of choice by Rajon Rondo, who’s riding the Hyperfuse throughout his team’s NBA Championship race. Check out this simple white/black colorway that fits well with the bare-boned construction of the Nike Hyperfuse; we’ve seen some outrageous colorways of this upcoming shoe, some featuring a tie-dye-esque graphic on the ankle collar, but this simple black-and-white color-up spurns any sort of visual stimulation and goes for a simpler approach. Expect the Nike Hyperfuse to drop in the coming months so continue reading for a better look at this new colorway. via MS.

Completely overshadowed by the Air Force 1 that debuted a year later, the Nike Dynasty 81 High is finally getting its fair share of shine from Nike Sportswear. Here’s a new Dynasty 81 that comes to you in a well timed colorway, featuring an accent shade few would have rocked those 30 years past. You can thank Cam’Ron for making it ok for ‘tough’ dudes to wear purple, and if so, props is in order for this smooth mix of black and white with the aforementioned kingly shade. A smart shoe for the summer nights, these joints are available today from FinishLine.

David Beckham is quite possibly the most recognizable footballer of our time; the media attention he garners outside of the sport (modeling, his marriage to the skinniest woman alive) has made him a household name, allowing him to blend in with the red carpet as well as he does in a soccer field. During a lunchtime family outing, Beckham wore a pair of the Alife Chuck Naval with a Dave’s Quality Meats Stuntman trucker hat, while his sons wore Nike and what appears to be some Converses. Evidently Beckham doesn’t show much love to adidas when he’s not pressed to do so! via SF.

The Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack might have been Jordan Brand’s best kept secret in a long time. Rumors of the Infrared Pack surfaced late last year and were confirmed a few months after; a slow progression of leaked images of the shoes and packaging stirred excitement but the supposed Asia-only release had many of our stateside readers miffed. However, the Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack is also set for a limited U.S. release on June 19th and will be available on Nikestore. Just how limited is “limited”? That remains to be seen. Sneaker News will update you with more info, but be advised that the Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack will see a U.S. release.

Since its first year in 2002, Nike SB has done quite a job in broadening its line of footwear; starting with just the Nike SB Dunk High and Dunk Low, the Nike SB Classic was brought on to the Nike skate team in 2005. A few years later, a high-top version of the Tennis-turned-Skate was unveiled. Check out this colorway of the Nike SB Classic High in varsity royal and voltage yellow; a colorway similar to the Nike SB Dunk Low Boca Juniors of 2005, this combination of blue and yellow will turn heads in the skatepark or on the streets. You can wait for these to drop at your local SB account in June, or head over to Flatspot where these are available early.

Yet another scrapped Blazer High AC that is never before seen, this particular pair is also unique because of material application; whereas nubuck is such a common facet in footwear, it’s not seen on existing Blazer AC releases. The soft suede gives the shoe almost a completely different feel- from chic to guady. Maybe that’s the reason why Nike didn’t go through with it. But there is leather found on the stitch-contrasted Swoosh, and possibly on the straps. Though the layout may not be the best, this Dark Grey/Solar Red combo looks pretty fierce and we wouldn’t be surprised if Nike is putting this on the backburner for another model. This sample is now up for grabs from solerevival777 on eBay.

One of the biggest Sneaker News stories from the month of March was our preview of two upcoming colorways of the Nike Air 1/2 Cent; one of the colorways was dubbed the “Cranberry”, for its rich Varsity Red colored Foamposite upper. One of our loyal readers submitted actual images of the Nike Air 1/2 Cent Varsity Red in the WDYWT feature of the Sneaker News Blogs section; varsity red aka Cranberry Foamposite is a definite first-time venture for Nike Foamposite but Nike’s recent track record of experimenting with interesting colors could even point to a Cranberry Foamposite One. These are set to release in December of this year so check out these new images of the Nike Air 1/2 Cent Cranberry and stop by the WDYWT feature on Sneaker News Blogs; show off what crispy pair you rocked today and comment on other sneakerhead choices as well!

Gourmet took their name from the culinary world to denote high quality status and now two of the three collaborations in their history have been food-related. Going with a considerably smaller niche than Pepsi this time, the Cali-based lifestyle sneaker brand has teamed up with the new Malibu location of NY-born Café Habana to create this super-limited run of the Gourmet Quattro hightop. A mere 24 pairs of these will be available at the Malibu restaurant during Memorial Day weekend, so make the necessary arrangements to get down to SoCal and cop a pair. via EUKicks

Rising hip-hop star and fellow sneaker enthusiast has been rocking some upcoming heat long before official release dates; either Nike’s using him as a pitchman or his Nike Outlet hunting skills are top notch. Last time Wale had us green with envy was when he wore the Neon Nike Air Max 24/7, and during a fun night out with Young Dro and Rosa Acosta, Wale rocked a sweet Oregon-inspired colorway of the upcoming Nike Huarache TR Mid that we showed you during our in-depth coverage of the Nike Athletic Training Footwear Preview. The Trainers released over the last few years (or even the entire decade) don’t have much cross-over appeal but true Nike heads will be all over this revamped Nike classic. Continue reading for a closer look at Wale’s latest kicks and extra images from the night’s festivities, and let us know what you think of the “new” Huarache. via freddyo.

It seems all the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 colorways are themed; the last few 2.5 releases we saw were Cinco De Mayo and Los Angeles Lakers colorups, and this latest pair of the hybrid ized P-Rod skate shoe features a throwback Phillies uni combo of dark burgundy and a university blue. The P-Rod 2.5 might be the most “classic” skate shoe of the entire P-Rod line due to the vulcanized midsole, so a colorway with back-in-the-day undertones in itself matches just fine. These will hit Nike SB accounts in June but are available right now at Flatspot.
