Air Jordan Alpha 1 Black Varsity Maize White | Available

What would happen if you took the classic styling of the Air Jordan 1, Be True To Your School Iowa Dunk High SB, and updated them with 21st century tech?  Why, this new Air Jordan Alpha 1, of course.  In actuality, the colorblocking scheme on these new Alpha 1s is a bit more complex thanks to their perforations, but with the Pittsburgh Penguins recently eliminated from the NHL Playoffs, the Steelers in shambles and Wu-Tang Clan working with Fila most recently, the Hawkeyes look is probably the best association.  Wherever your black-and-yellow allegiances lie, you can scoop up these AJ Alpha 1s with a complimentary colorway today from Finish Line.

Gourmet Quadici Fall 2010

After a small preview of Gourmet’s Summer releases, here’s a look at some more Quadici’s set for Fall.  These pairs get tonal uppers- shown here are dark taupe and black- on a black air unit midsole.  Originally when these came out the price point was a bit steep, but was justified by the materials used.  Gourmet tries to compromise quality with price with its upcoming duck boots, so we’ll see how consumers’ reactions are.  Look out in a few months.  Stay tuned for more info. via CT

Nike Air Foamposite Pro Pearl New Images

2010 might very well be the biggest year for Nike Foamposite technology since its 1997 debut.  Following a schedule that can only be compared to Air Jordan retros, we’ve seen the beloved Eggplant colorway joined by a new Copper pair, and that’s only half of what’s in store!  Not only will the brand new ‘Cough Drop’ colorway be out later this year, but we’ll have another crack at the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in its unmistakable ‘Pearl’ colorup.  These are identical to last year’s limited run, but most people couldn’t secure a pair, so we’re psyched to see them back.  It’s looking like another House of Hoops exclusive this time around, but Marquee Sole has sizes 8-13 already!

Nike Air Force 1 Low White Marina Blue June 2010

True sneakerheads are always geeked when Nike releases a new color, and here’s a new pair of Nike Air Force 1 Lows with major crossover appeal.  Even if you’re the type who’d never even look at the box once you copped, these white-based kicks with the new Marina Blue shade are sure to find plenty of fans.  They’re bright and summery, but with a careful balance of patent and perforated leathers, the shine is carefully balanced.  These joints are set to release in just under four weeks, with Foot Locker expecting them on Saturday, June 12th.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI (6) Sample New Images

Shadowy images appeared early last week that depict an upcoming Kobe Bryant sneaker from Nike, or at least a sample.  The triad logo and a new ‘KB’ insignia that looks like it could be an ’8′ or even an inverted ’24′ confirm that this shoe was made with the Mamba in mind, but is this new pair the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, or possibly the next in the Dream Series or Make Sense lines? Let’s examine the clues:

You’ve got a lowtop, Zoom-equipped shoe with a familiar silhouette, yet there are a few key changes.  This particular pair pictured above appears to have no Flywire, yet its forefoot is among the more interesting we’ve seen thanks to its seamless transition from smooth leather to a snakeskin debossing on the toe.  A pair you could easily see as the logical progression of Kobe Bryant Nikes, stay tuned to Sneaker News to see if this pair Makes Sense as the newest Kobe signature.  via Kenlu

Nike Air Force 1 White Metallic Silver 3M

The Nike Air Force 1 was at the forefront of the sneakerhead craze during the earlier part of this decade. While the designs and colorways of the Nike SB Dunk were popular for its eccentricity, the Nike Air Force 1 built its backbone on simple yet meticulous colorblocking. This new white and metallic silver 3M pair looks like a throwback from the 80s; the unmistakeable all-white upper on top of the grey sole with a 3M reflective swoosh will have AF1 heads nodding in approval. Check out the images after the jump because this is one of the better Air Force 1 release we’ve seen in a while, and watch for these to drop at your NSW account soon. via kinstor.

NBA Feet: Eastern Conference Finals Recap Part 1

The Eastern Conference Finals began with an astounding match-up of the two marquee big-men in the league who both happen to rep the adidas camp. Both Dwight Howard and KG wore the adidas Supernatural Commander, with KG showing a nice Gucci-esque black/red/green colorway. Teammate Glen Davis also added some color to the Celtic green-and-white by wearing the Nike Air Max Hyperize in the Jamaican flag-inspired color-up. Ray Allen continued his Icon PE trend while Rajon Rondo stuck with the Nike Hyperfuse – and there’s no reason for change when the Boston back-court performance has been unmatched thus far. Rounding out Orlando’s side of things was Rashard Lewis’ Nike Air Max-A-Lot in a Space Jam colorway and Vince Carter in his usual Nike Shox. Boston took Game One with relative ease; does Orlando have a trick up their sleeve for Game 2? Check out the images from yesterday’s Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 after the jump. via Yahoo!.

Nike Air Max 90 World Expo Shanghai New Images

Last Friday Sneaker News showed you the latest member of the Nike World Expo Pack – the Nike Air Max 90. Joining the Nike Blazer Mid, this special colorway of the Air Max 90 featrures a 3M polygonal graphic representative of the Chinese Pavilion, placed on the upper mudguard and heel liner. A black Nike Air heel badge and swoosh off-set the bright red. Patent leather is visible on the toeguard and center panel with crease camouflaging mesh on the toe. Quite an interesting mix of materials on this Asia-Exclusive pair of Air Max 90s, so check out the extra detailed images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more release info. via Kenlu.

Air Jordan RPM White Cement

This new silhouette out of the Jordan Brand labs appears to be stuck in limbo; is it a lifestyle shoe, or is it a performance shoe made for the courts? Called the Air Jordan RPM, the upper features a sleek construction emphasizing the toe and heel area and also features a micro-perforated center panel. The midsole also features no jagged edges and opts for an even horizon, although a visible Air unit and small Jumpman logo makes up the center. This chukka-like silhouette is also featured in the recent Jordan 1 Fund, which doesn’t look too different than the RPM. The bottom sole uses plenty of grooves and honey-combed traction but still maintains a flat surface that creates the solid look when combined with the stitched midsole. Judging by the name, could the Air Jordan RPM might even be placed in the seldom-visited “driving shoe” category? Continue reading for a better look. via kinstor.

Nike Air Foamposite One Metallic Varsity Red Black Detailed Images

Another spot of the Cough Drop Foamposite will get readers anxious for its anticipated arrival. As previously mentioned, these are a more favorable rendition of a Bred colorway than the 2007 release due to the red ice sole- hence the moniker of Cough Drop. In retrospect, the opaque soles of the one that dropped a few years ago look rather fake, missing that key element that belong to some of the most of the more popular Foams. And of course the rest of the shoe is everything that you Foam-freaks come to love; a sheen Foamposite shell, comfy lining, super-reponsive Zoom unit, and carbon fiber plate. Enjoy the in-depth look and be wary of its release next month. via Kinstor

Nike Air Max 95 Black Dark Shadow Total Orange

Patterns and graphics don’t usually have a place on Air Max 95s, but this latest JD Sports Exclusive makes a strong push for increased use. This new colorway of black, dark shadow, and orange, features an all black upper but drops the famous gradient coloring on the upper for an all-black paneling topped off with a grid-like pattern. The idea of this pair is exactly like another JD Sports Air Max 95 that dropped earlier this year which also featured an all-black upper with a curious graphic placed on one of the flowing lines. Not to say the gradient color scheme is played out in any sense, but it’s nice to see a different approach on the ninety-five. This pair is now available exclusively at JD Sports.

Nike WMNS Air Rift White + Rainbow

Like the Nike Footscape, the Nike Air Rift was a 90′s shoe with a peculiar design that enjoyed a strong cult following. It featured design cues not found in many other sneakers, like the split toe and velcro strap on the in-step and heel with an upper cross-pollinated between a ballet and ninja shoe. The Air Rift was actually meant for running and not for delicate prancing or stealthy assaults, although you’re more than welcome to do so with these on. Two new women’s colorways in a weave design will release this month at atmos, so continue reading for a better look at the new colorways of this Nike classic.
