The Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII is the latest Force-meets-Jordan hybrid to be released, and this upcoming colorway features somewhat of a “reverse” design; the famous graffiti-esque logo is now placed on the midsole while shedding the cross-strap, opting for a singular strap normally seen on the Air Force 1 High. The embossed ’23′ logo can be seen on the outer toe, but the glaring design cue is clearly the multi-colored lenticular Nike swoosh that is absent in the original VIII Fusion. This new alternate Fusion VIII in black and a rainbow of colors is slated to release as a House of Hoops exclusive this Saturday so head over to your local spot if these are up your alley. via KATC.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a noteworthy Puma Disc Blaze. Getting the obvious done first, sport red mesh sets the foundation for maroon leather mudguard and smoke plastic rands and disc mechanism. A nice feature rarely seen on Puma products is the use of speckle for the upper midsole. The most unique part of this particular Disc Blaze gets a Tech upgrade, replacing the typical phylon midsole with a 10Cell unit, similar to the Bubble Tech Pack from last September. We haven’t seen these in the States yet, but you can cop overseas from Mita Sneakers now.

If you took some random people off the street and asked them to guess which season these new Nike Air Max 1s would be released, good luck getting any answer aside from ‘Summer’. These new Eighty-Sevens are both bright without being overbearing, and each offers its own flavor to whet your classic running whistle. First up is the turbo green pair that we showed you last week, and in these new photos they come off looking like a poolside glass of lemonade. You can switch that out with a cool slice of watermelon for the other pair, or perhaps a strawberry-kiwi cocktail. In any case, both pairs are delicious and they’re available at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Kicks-Crew.

We’ve known these were coming since last September, but when you take a look at them, it’s still like a syrupy smack in the face. The Nike Blazer High AC is back with its five velcro straps and this pair’s shiny purple leather upper is among the most attention-grabbing we’ve seen on this design. Their outsole is quite interesting as well, opting for a more Dunk-like pebbled look instead of the typical Blazer ‘nest’. These Wicked Purple Blazer High ACs are available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers, or get yours now on eBay.

Kobe Bryant just finished off an easy four-game sweep over the Utah Jazz who did not pose much of a thread to the defending champs. Next step? The Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Suns, although there might not be much drama since Raja Bell nor newfound nemesis Matt Barnes are on the Suns squad. But we’re looking into the near future as well, as Kobe will represent the USA during the 2010 Summer World Games in Turkey, where he will sport the all-new Nike Zoom Kobe V Team USA edition. Kobe’s focused on Western Conference Finals for now but we have the luxury of taking another look at these kicks that may drop in the future. Check out the images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more info regarding this colorway. via taobao.

We just gave you a look at Converse’s take on a on clear shoe, now take a look at another concept its taking from another brand. This One Star gets a traditional look with a single tone upper on tumbled leather, but puts emphasis on the midsole by yellowing it for a vintage look. Converse may be under Nike’s wing, but the method seems to be less pronounced on this than some of the Vintage kicks we see from Nike. No word on US release info but these are available already in Asian markets like Mischief.

Around World Cup time, we should expect a ton of flag-inspired colorways of Nike Sportswear models in addition to the dedicated World Cup Packs that have already dropped. This latest colorway of the super-light Nike Air Maxim 1 features orange/black/white colors of Holland, which is already one of the six countries represented in the Nike Sportswear Six Collection. It seems like everything orange is tied to Holland these days, isn’t it? The Maxim 1 should be one suitable shoe for the Summer season so grab a pair now from rmkstore on eBay.

Initially what would thought would simply be extra durable versions of existing models, CONS has turned out to be a legitimate well-rounded line of skate footwear by Converse. We’ve already seen the Sea Star, but also shown here is the Royal Ox, featuring unique midsole tooling from other Converse models. While both uppers are quite minimal, the silohettes are favorite for a fashionable skate shoe. Though both in black, we can anticipate seeing these in an array of colors, as previewed before for the Sea Star. But for no you can cop both of these now at Premier.

A shoe that could be nicknamed ‘Spizike 2′ for its borrowing from the same Jays, the new Jordan Rare Air captures that Air Jordan II-VI feel without overly resembling the Spiz’ike. This new pair is the second colorway we’ve seen, and this one incorporates some of the best from that late ’80s/early ’90s run. Most of the shoe is black, including tonal elephant print on the toe and heel, but in between you get some AJIV-like cement grey speckling alongside the Fire red midsole hits. These are sure to be one of the most wanted Rare Airs, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release date. via RMK
