From the original to the Flywire-equipped update, the Nike Air Trainer SC has been everywhere in 2010. This latest pair comes in a colorway also seems to be omnipresent in the shoe game, but that’s cos it’s such a versatile and pleasing look. These SCs rock a simple white/grey/black base, but with their Varsity Red accents, they are anything but dull. Quite possibly the best original SC so far in 2010, these joints are available today from shaolin8 on eBay.

The last few Sneakerhead Collections we showcased drew some ire and “hate”, but what you’re about to see here should stop you in your tracks. Air Jordan, Nike SB, LeBron, Foams, you name it, he’s got it. All the shoes you see in this great gallery are under the ownership of an individual named “Bossing,” and it’s apparent that he puts an inordinate, yet praiseworthy, amount of work in displaying his kicks. Storage is an issue all sneakerheads struggle with, but it’s clear the shoes are the men of the house, as they are proudly housed in wall units, glass cases, and neat displays. Check out this great gallery of possibly one of the most diverse and unparalleled collections you’ll ever see, and be sure to let us know what you think. via yourdailydoseofmarc.

East met West when P. Diddy joined fellow hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre during the DiddyBeats product launch at Best Buy in New York City. During the celebratory event, Sean P. Puff Diddy Combs rocked the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Infrared while Dr. Dre – despite not rocking his khakis with a cuff in the crease – kept it classic with a pair of all-white Nike Air Force 1 Lows. Dre’s recent venture into the world of high-end electronics was a success and partnering up with Diddy, who himself has displayed some busines acumen, should only be a plus. Check out P. Diddy and Dr. Dre’s kicks after the jump and let us know which pair – next-gen hybrid Spiz’ike or old-school white-on-whites – won this round of Celebrity Feet.

The Nike Air Attack was an appropriate platform to introduce the super-hybrid, highly anticipated Nike Air Max 24/7. The five 24/7 releases from the Air Attack Pack were well-received, but many sneakerheads were patiently waiting for the classicS like the Neon 95-inspired colorway and the Chili Reds. If you haven’t picked up a pair of the Air Max 24/7, you’re seriously slacking, because these are certainly one of the best hybrid designs pumped out by the Nike plant in a long while. The Neons have already started popping up at select retailers and now Footaction will have both the Neon 95-inspired and Chili Red inspired colorways of the Nike Air Max 24/7 available for purchase starting this Memorial Day Weekend; picking one over the other is going to be a tough decision, but be sure to stop in your local Footaction and cop your pair, because these are flying off the shelves fast.

In what truly is a dream come true, Austin Jermacans’ Future Sole Competition submission will officially release this Friday at select Jordan retailers. Jordan Brand will also hold a special launch event of the Future Sole Melo M6 will take place in Reading, PA to celebrate the release of this groundbreaking shoe, but there’s no need to wait because WestNYC has these available for purchase early. Upon its release in 1991, the Nike Air Classic BW featured the largest visible Air Unit to date, but that title was taken away by later models, most notably the Nike Air Max 93 and it’s 270-degree Air Unit. Thankfully, the BW hasn’t been forgotten; we still see a number of new colorways and it’s also available for NikeID customization, but most recently the BW was transformed into the Nike Air BW Gen II used to present Nike’s new Torch material. This latest colorway of the Nike Air Classic BW features a simple earthy combination of white, beige, and brown, and can be pre-ordered now at Crooked Tongues.

After years in the custom game SBTG’s name is only getting bigger, putting him on the fast lane of customized sneaker pieces. Aside from his self-initiated collections, the amount of custom orders are more then ever. But Mark Ong wouldn’t have it any other way, never letting quantity get int the way of quality. Here’s a look at a few recent custom requests he’s completed. Because of past projects he’s done, prospective custom clients have open their eyes to the potential of non-Nikes, as seen in the ‘Black Saigon’ New Balance and the ‘Apocalypse’ Converse. But of course, you just can’t deny how fresh he can make a Dunk, AF1 or AM90 look. Some of the aesthetics seem to take some inspiration from his recent ‘Flying Tiger’ and ‘Lucky Strike’ creations. French denim house A.P.C. has set the new standard in selvage jeans. They released a quintessentially subtle white canvas tennis shoe last summer, but that likely never would have happened without the success of their collaboration with Nike. Here’s a new pair of A.P.C. x Nike All Court Lows that you might consider the ‘Un-’ version of one of last year’s. They’ve swapped the colorblocking from the previous edition, and instead of a canvas upper, we’re working with a rich blue suede. Have a look at these simple beauties after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release. via CT

Austin Jermacans’ itinerary throughout the 2009 Future Sole Design Competition started with a sketch drawing and ended with Carmelo Anthony wearing his shoe in the NBA Playoffs. Needless to say, this short experience was a huge success for Jermacans hopes for the future. In this video produced by Sole Collector, we get a behind-the-scenes look at the arduous and rewarding journey Jermacans piloted himself through, from working directly with Justin taylor – the creator of the original Melo M6 – and getting feedback from Carmelo himself. Check out the screencaps and video after the jump, and stick with Sneaker News for more release info of the Future Sole Melo M6. via Eastbay.

O.J. Mayo is regarded as one of the top combo-guards in the league; night in and night out, he’s capable of running the floor and dishing out 10 times or stealing the show and dropping 35. That sort of multi-tool play is reflective of Scottie Pippen’s entire career, which is why the Nike Air Max-A-Lot – a hybrid of Scottie Pippen’s sig shoes – is fitting for the rising star of the Grizzlies. Check out the Home and Away colorway of the Nike Air Max-A-Lot PE made for O.J. Mayo and you’ll see the sweet “OJ” logo on the heel. That makes three Memphis PEs thus far – Mayo, Rudy Gay, Z-Bo – and that just means the Grizzlies will be a tough team next season. Continue reading for more images and let us know which colorway is better. via Nike Basketball.
