Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Kevin Durant do more than wear Nikes and Jordans in games, they’re global ambassadors for the brand in which they represent. Kevin Durant, on the heels of one of the best NBA seasons ever assembled by a 21-year-old, went on a mini-tour of China – a basketball-crazed country that displays effusive love for American basketball stars – bringing along his father as well as Thunder teammate James Harden. In addition to doing some great sight-seeing of Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu, KD spent his time promoting his Nike KD II, making an appearance at Nike retail locations, and even offering a basketball clinic at the base of the Great Wall of China. KD was also on hand to reward the Tsinghua High School basketball team with a limited edition colorway of his Nike KD II – only 100 pairs exist!
