By the time the Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack hits retailers on June 19th, nearly all schools will be out for summer, making this one of the best graduation gifts a sneakerhead could ask for. The only thing is, with all that extra time, you know a ton of people are going to be lined up to get this double-boxed set. Both online and in-store, it’s going to be a tough, but worthwhile effort to cop the Infrared Pack, but you can make it a little easier on yourself. For those interested in sizes 8.5-10, they’re available for pre-order from Osneaker, with a full-size run also already available on eBay.

TRUST ME, PUTTING UR SHOES IN PLASTIC WRAPPING/BAGS WILL DRY THE SHOE OUT ITS NOT WORTH IT JUST KEEP THEM IN THE BOX AND OUT OF LIGHT AND U'LL BE FINE, IVE TRIED EVERYTHING PLASTIC WRAP, ZIP-LOCK BAGS AND THE BEST THING THAT I FOUND WAS JUST PUTTING A GOOD QUALITY GEL-PACK (MOISTURE ABSORBER) PER BOX AND KEEP THEM OUT OF LIGHT AND U WILL HAVE THE SHOES FOR A LOT LONGER PERIOD.

I have both colors of the varsity red version. When I do a sole to sole comparison, the red on the black version looks like a totally different color red then my white version. Almost like they put an infared pair in a varsity red box. WTF!

good eyes man-check out "simultaneous contrast" by Albers, he is the father of color theory (if you people don't know about him or the Bauhaus you have no right bitchin about varsity vs. ifnfra) , the red will appear as two different colors depending on the background…the darker the background, the lighter the foreground…I sometimes think my varsity reds could pass for infrared until I compare them to my 2000 release.

I agree with you Kickzaddict! Also noticed that with my white varsity red 6! They do look a bit infrared! And by the way this pack just looks like the varsity reds! Wack pack but nice packaging though…. just paint your varsity reds if you want to make them look like these so called “INFRAREDS” pack! Sheesh!

you should just wear them. kicks are meant to be worn. unless they are about to crack on you but plastic will just dry them out.
