Nike Sportswear teased the sneaker community on Twitter about the next Foamposite shoe, and while the Metallic Pewter Air Foamposite One is sure to be one of the hottest Foams yet, NSW’s secret turned out to be one of its staple models. The Nike Air Force 1 x Foamposite was immediately one of the hottest shoes of 2010 when images surfaced last week. Today, we have several new images of the Fall 2010 release. June 9th, 2010 at 2:05 pm
All that hype and this is what nike came up with…………. sad
June 9th, 2010 at 2:20 pm
Destroy it now before it has a chance to hit the street!
June 9th, 2010 at 2:29 pm
hmmm this might just have to be my very first af1!
June 9th, 2010 at 2:31 pm
It's like a shoe from the future. Nice, but a different colorway?
June 9th, 2010 at 2:33 pm
From the last posts about these, ppl were not liking, but of the jump the concept was nice, and the shoe looks even better.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:38 pm
This has "Hypebeast" written all over it!
June 9th, 2010 at 2:42 pm
why are ppl hatin on these? i hate sneakerheads that only like the OG stuff. this is a very cool shoe although it could use a different colorway
June 9th, 2010 at 2:42 pm
Yeah if they do the classic colorways like eggplant and royal I might cop..
June 9th, 2010 at 2:45 pm
Release an all black pair and I’ll buy them.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:50 pm
I was thinkin the same thing, but I don't know if this is enough to overcome my hate for the AF1.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:58 pm
ill say it again scrap this colorway and go with an af1 low as well
June 9th, 2010 at 2:59 pm
I like them. They smooth.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:59 pm
and the swoosh shouldnt be foam
June 9th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
This is a love it or hate it shoe. I personally love it.
June 9th, 2010 at 3:06 pm
I know this is noobish, but exactly what is foamposite here in UK we haven't got widespread releases of any models and I'm just curious as to what it is and how it feels on feet.
June 9th, 2010 at 3:08 pm
Moonboot!
June 9th, 2010 at 3:14 pm
Trash
June 9th, 2010 at 3:19 pm
Royal blue with the ice sole is gonna be sick…
June 9th, 2010 at 3:20 pm
Omg f’n gorgeous!!!…
June 9th, 2010 at 3:22 pm
I’m not a fan of these but if they come out with a all white pair or pearl color then Nike may get my money
June 9th, 2010 at 3:26 pm
I never liked af1 high but I love the foamposite material. I’d have to see an actual pic of the shoe.
June 9th, 2010 at 3:27 pm
Terrible.
June 9th, 2010 at 3:30 pm
if they start making these in place of AF1s with leather/other materials…. smh. ill stop buyin nike no lie.
June 9th, 2010 at 3:34 pm
It looks like some shoes that go with the Iron Man suit!!!! This shoe is horrible! PASS!!!!!
June 9th, 2010 at 3:36 pm
The sole is like biting into an apple and finding a worm in it.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:41 pm
'Foamposite' refers to a family of Nike Basketball sneakers (and its offspring, the Flightposites) that were popular in the late '90s and early '00s.
As relates to this particular Air Force 1, 'Foamposite' denotes the injected foam material used to make its unique upper.
Foamposites are somewhat heavy, definitely bulkier than your Hyperdunks or Zoom Kobe IV/V, but the fit, especially in the Air Foamposite One, is just fantastic. Foams crease less than other materials and the matte/satin finish is unlike anything else in the world of sneakers.

all u yung buls have to open yall mind if nike continued to relaese the same shoes all the time the shoe game would b real boring then all u would do iz say nike needs to do something different, i c more complaining and hating on here & other websites than just appreiating what nike does open yall little brains to what nike does.or just shut up & get ur own shoe company.these r nice but need to c these n different colorways.
June 9th, 2010 at 4:07 pm
It’s a novel idea, but definitely NOT worth all the hype they were trying to stir up for it.
June 9th, 2010 at 4:24 pm
I like them. But NIKE should release a low top AF1 FOAMPOSITE with the hi-tops.__ I think the lows would look better.
June 9th, 2010 at 4:29 pm
got one pair of all blackaf1s that i havnt worn in like 3 years, these r nice but they aint gonna make start rockin them again
June 9th, 2010 at 4:32 pm
real talk you should both get it, it will determine if you like the show or not
June 9th, 2010 at 4:51 pm
Wack!!! And these will probably be $160+
June 9th, 2010 at 5:08 pm
i really just dont know. i at first was diggin these so hard but now looking at the imprint rather than a stitching on the shoe im not quite sure. i wish i could see em in hand
June 9th, 2010 at 5:30 pm
Pretty good. I’m not copping unill there is a eggplant colorway avalible.
June 9th, 2010 at 5:41 pm
Hot Garbage. But I guess they not for stylin I guarantee they good for balling tho.
June 9th, 2010 at 5:45 pm
lows please….that is all!!
June 9th, 2010 at 6:22 pm
We did get a release of the Penny Foams back in 99 or w/e they dropped but yeah I kno what you mean in the UK foams are rarer than rocking horse sh*t (Foamposites were quick strikes a couple of times and nike have never given us the pros)
I'd definatly cop more Foams if they were more widely available the Royals and Eggplants are classics. Respect to Aaron for droppin some knowledge for the young guy ( no disrespect UK trainer kid)
June 9th, 2010 at 6:29 pm
Official whoever says a low top would look better is dumb but they shouldve made the strap more like the mid top af1 and they need an all black cw too
June 9th, 2010 at 6:31 pm
But I definetly coppin these they still worth it
June 9th, 2010 at 7:17 pm
somethin new to rock out with
way better then jordan af1s
June 9th, 2010 at 7:26 pm
the heel is icyyyy
June 9th, 2010 at 7:39 pm
i dont know…………………………….
June 9th, 2010 at 7:42 pm
i just looked at the pics a 2nd time and i retract my previous statement
these are no good
June 9th, 2010 at 8:17 pm
I give you my respect. Very well explained to UK trainer KID. I sure learned somethin' too. We can sure use you on this site. RE$PECT
June 9th, 2010 at 8:33 pm
i think the concept is interesting but nike shouldn't market it as a foamposite x af1 hybrid (that will just lead to the same hatred that is felt for ajfs), but rather, a fresh, new approach to a generic staple.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:34 pm
i like these but i would need to see them in person to determine if i would copp or not
June 9th, 2010 at 9:17 pm
^^^^everything is hypebeast to people now and days ….its simply a nice sneaker…wtf!!
June 9th, 2010 at 9:28 pm
i dnt like em
June 9th, 2010 at 9:47 pm
Props to you.
June 9th, 2010 at 10:12 pm
this is definately going to be my first force
June 9th, 2010 at 10:17 pm
lol…thanks
You do realize, I *did* write the original post too, right?
June 10th, 2010 at 2:18 am
thanks…tryin' to get my reputation up to match yours, steelo
June 9th, 2010 at 10:50 pm
i'm confused.
gotta see in person to even state an opinion for this shoe
June 9th, 2010 at 11:19 pm
How do u know all this stuff? Have u thought of coppin' this shoe? RE$PECT. Like ur knowledge on the shoe.
June 10th, 2010 at 3:28 am
Thanks, bro.
I'm 25, so when the Foamposite One came out, I was a 12 year old kid who spent a totally unreasonable percentage of my time looking through the Eastbay catalog. Been a sneakerhead since the Blacktop Pumps I got when I was 6 lol
Personally, I'm more of a Dunk guy than AF1s, with a few notable exceptions (Baltoro Mids FTW). These are hot, but I'm more likely to grab the Cough Drops and Pewter joints when those come out next year.
June 9th, 2010 at 11:35 pm
everybody chill. these joints are decent
June 10th, 2010 at 12:04 am
No offense, but I'm more of an AF1guy….. If you're really into dunks try goin' to Flightclubla.com I think they have more colors or styles…. I'm pretty sure you've seen Nike.com where you can customize nike dunks….. I just wish they can do that with an AF1. (Nike used to do it back in Aug of '08 4 $225 on an AF1) -RE$PECT
June 10th, 2010 at 12:06 am
The cough drops are dropping next year?……I thought it would be this June 19…….hmm, guess I was wrong.
June 10th, 2010 at 1:27 am
Cough Drops next Saturday, Metallic Pewter TBA 2011…forgive my sloppy wording, shoulda said " . . . and *then* Pewter . . . "
June 10th, 2010 at 1:34 am
such a waste of technology…
June 10th, 2010 at 2:54 am
beautiful, imagine them in a eggplant colorways and penny blue colorways =)
June 10th, 2010 at 5:14 am
I like the top of the shoe, but there something about the sole that is throwing me off, they should have made a full air bubble or gotten rid of the air bubble.Dont really like the AF sole. Be more original!
June 10th, 2010 at 5:21 am
just wait til they post new pics of them sitting in HOH, or in someones hand, where u can really see the shoe. Alot of opinons will change, they hot and 2 pair will be copped!!
June 10th, 2010 at 1:33 pm
nice concept. not coppin tho.
June 10th, 2010 at 4:50 pm
i lyk'em. i'd buy if they were n a metallic red r blue. not really feeln da plain silver
June 10th, 2010 at 5:15 pm
They should leave the swoosh off since the foam's don't have one and put the same kind of grooves on the side, just like the foams do have on the side panels.
June 12th, 2010 at 7:09 am
I was only 7 in 99 so didnt really get what was going on. But i will try to get these as could be a nice addition to what i have already
June 13th, 2010 at 8:33 pm
they should make some low tops then i just might consider..
June 22nd, 2010 at 2:58 pm
