The Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 is more than just a mash-up of two popular Nike Sportswear models. “80′s basketball meets 90′s basketball” is what Nike had in mind; the AF1 is an iconic basketball shoe of the 80′s and Foamposite technology revolutionized Nike kicks in the decade after, so when Nike Sportswear finally revealed its next project, not many were necessarily surprised. Not much shock, but a ton of awe was the result when catalog shots of the Foam x Force was first revealed, and now Sneaker News has these new shots for you to enjoy.
Sitting on top of a black midsole with a metallic gold Air unit, the lustrous all-silver upper and black lace harness with a 3M ankle strap dominated the room, standing alone on its own pedestal, away from the bright colors of the Hyperfuse and Hyperdunk 2010 displays. Not quite a lightweight shoe, the Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 may turn out to be worth its weight in gold. wtf is up with the toebox. its mad tall and blocky and nothing like a true af1 should be. HEY NIKE HERES AN IDEA START MAKING AF1 HIGHS WITH QUALITY LIKE IN THE 90'S AND THE ORIGINAL SHAPE AND MIDSOLE MOLDS. then you will something going. the only thing i like about these shoes is the tongue and the collar.

For my love of the AF1 and Foamposite I will buy these. I know that people don't like the whole mash up thing and thats cool but these will be in my collection. I hope they do a all black and a all white. I also will get the Rasheed Wallace PE when available (because you know he will have a pair next season). I bet the all white lows w/clear soles will be dope and sell like crazy in the hood summer of 2011. Trust. However, I know many people will disagree. So commence……Kush

Honestly, i could care less what anyone thinks about these! IMO, these are absolutely DOPE!!! I will be copping 2 pairs of these bad boys without a doubt!! I like how Nike is being creative and not sticking to the original recycled releases!! Good job nike!!

that 3M strap makes these look doper. they're pretty nice but i don't think i'll cop. and they're probably gonna retail these at some stupid insane price like 175.

Ok I take it back, thanks to the closer look of these, these are SICK. i think they would look a little better with silver laces, though and u shouldn't have to worry about creasing if you have wearable shoe trees. The metallic look makes them look way different than what we've seen from Nike. These shit on the Jordan Foamposite Retro 1s that are coming out sometime this year.

i agree, they keep on saying nikes ruining two classic models, but asked yourselves, is it that nike is stop producing af1? or foamposites? NO, so i you dont like dont buy. I personally love them.

i'm not big on the AF1 so this is an easy pass for me. i'm just wondering what was nike thinking when the idea for this came about…to each his own but if any one were to cop these they would be only for show since the crease that is so evident in the foams would be even worse in a hybrid with the af1. All in all this shoe will sell simply because its something different

i just got my pair in the mail…. they are diffirent … its alot of foamposite silver everywhere… but the shoes are comfy on your feet …and they look fly on your feet… i dont think they will crease.. unless you get 3 sizes larger then your feet…they fit perfect. i rocked them today with some cargo shorts… got alot of compliments …get them before they are all gone.
