Chris Paul is pretty darn accustomed to received awards. Rookie of the Year, a Gold Medal in the 2008 Olympics, NBA All-Star selections, All-NBA selections, you name, he’s either had ‘em or inevitably will. So who does he thank? We know CP3 is a respectful individual – he’s big on family – and the Jordan CP3 Tribute pays homage to Michael Jordan and the brand that entrusted him in a way that only seems fitting. The Jordan CP3 Tribute takes on the Jordan CP3.III silhouette but with hints of classic Air Jordan models; in this case the Tribute adopts an updated take on the Air Jordan III, featuring the lace holes as well as a toeguard (not in the CP3.III), and of course the most obvious design cue of them all, the Elephant Print that spans the entire base of the shoe. These are set for a July 2010 release in the U.S. but are available now overseas at washinsp and m-sports.
