The southpaw known as ‘The King of Clay’ regained the #1 World Ranking when he won his fifth French Open title on June 7th. At 24 years old, Rafael Nadal has racked up enough rewards to place him among the all-time greats as well as part of the exclusive group of tennis pros with signature Nike shoes. The Nike Air Max Courtballistec 2.3 in the Hot Lime colorway is an update from last year’s Air Max Courtballistec 1.3 and features a carbon fiber swoosh and heel. The 4-way flexible textile on the upper seems to have returned from the 1.3 as does the herringbone-traction XDR outsole and Ortholite sockliner. There’s a lot more tennis to played this summer so check out the images after the jump and expect these on Nadal’s feet soon. via CK.

Now that's what I'm talking about, shoes getting loud. Hot lime definitely suits these.

Looks aight, too bad they're more tied down than Nick Cannon. Who does a whole photoshoot and doesn't even try to make the shoe look better than it might be when it's tied up like a white guy's 6 year old hiking boot?
