The Foot Locker House of Hoops opened its Harlem, NYC location during the Winter of 2007; it quickly became a favorite destination of the neighborhood, residents of the outer boroughs, and out-of-towners on vacation. The trek uptown can be a task, but lucky for us a House of Hoops retail spot will open up on 34th Street in Manhattan, the second HoH location in the borough. It will be located next to another New York City landmark building – the Empire State Building. These sports-specific shops should thrive in New York City; a Foot Locker store dedicated to running opened up late last year in Union Square and has become a popular destination for lovers of the sport/exercise.
