Nike Air Pegasus 89 White Grey Infrared

Last month showed us a preview of an upcoming Infrared MS78, but it’s a total surprise to see that same famous shade appear on the shoe that inspired that newer model.  The Nike Air Pegasus 89 perfectly captures the aesthetics of its time of original release with a colorway borrowed from the most famous Air Max 90.  We’ve never seen an unsatisfying shoe with white/grey/black and Infrared, and these are no exception.  Swiss sneaker suppliers Titolo already have theirs, so expect these at stateside Nike Sportswear retailers shortly.

Nike Zoom KD II Scoring Title Release Info

OKC’s 2/3, number 35 averaged 30.1 ppg during season number 3 en route to the 2009-10 NBA Scoring Title.  All those numbers and letters are just one way of saying that budding Nike Basketball superstar Kevin Durant put his stamp on the NBA season just gone by, in the form of a 2400 point season and 50 wins for the Thunder.  Another way of getting that point across is the new Nike Zoom KD II ‘Scoring Title’.  These joints are quite similar to the China Edition and pretty simple on the outside, but the insoles and sockliners feature a bunch of symbols that commemorate the season.  Check out more photos after the jump and if you’re feelin’ these, they’re available on eBay.

Air Jordan Flight SC 1 White Varsity Red Black | Available

When Sneaker News first dropped images of the Air Jordan Flight SC-1, many readers were quick to point out the design inspiration of the shoe; the familiar Air Jordan III midsole returned and the upper styling and sloping ankle cut were reminiscent of the Nike Air Flight series from the late 80′s. In fact, the SC-1 merely looks like a strapless version of the Air Jordan Flight 45 High with an altered lace-hold construction. A closer look at the White/Varsity Red-Black colorway of the Air Jordan Flight SC-1 reveals an faux-crocskin print on the tongue and on the mudguard as well. The Air Jordan Flight SC-1 was scheduled for a July 2010 release but are available now at Finishline, and you can expect more colorways to drop soon.

Nike Air Royal Mid Black White Purple | Available

If you’re in the market for a black pair of Nike Air Royal Mids but weren’t feeling the dress shoe-like Quickstrike that we showed you earlier today, you’re in luck.  The latest Air Royal Mid is mostly black leather, but adds a good portion of white and select purple hits to liven things up.  The leather on these is particularly smooth, so even though they’re more affordable than the QS edition, these are clearly high quality stuff.  Grab a pair from select Nike Sportswear retailers like Size?

Nike WMNS Terminator Low Julep Black

This new colorway of the Nike WMNS Terminator Low features the popular coloway julep on a classic black nubuck base. The toe and center panel features a dotted graphic, and combined with the black/julep color combination, these new Terminators appears like a fresh take on a classic shoe. However the beige colored midsole offers a retro vibe much like the Nike Terminator VNTG releases with the pre-yellowed midsoles, although these aren’t of the variety. Expect these women’s kicks to drop at Nike retailers soon. via naturalone.

Nike Air Max Tailwind+ 2 Black White Anthracite Sport Red

The Nike Air Max Tailwind+ 2 was originally named the Tailwind 2010, but another Air Max Tailwind set for a Holiday release, it might be more convenient to give each design a numerical designation. This colorway of black, red, and white features a black mesh upper with a vibrant white-midsole red-Air combo as well as a red trim – tongue, ankle collar, and bottom sole. The shiny front and rear bumpers also return. Need a pair of runners for the summer jogging sessions? Pick up a these iPod integrated Air Maxes from steptorun on eBay.

Vintage Air Jordan Warm Up Suits – Part 2: ‘Grape’ Edition

It is not uncommon for Jordan Brand to release accompanying apparel alongside the major Air Jordan Retro releases. Contemporary graphic design is obviously a lot more advanced, but no design today can touch the vintage motif provided by a true piece of Jordan apparel history. Yesterday we showed you a nice collection of warm-ups that featured the iconic Elephant print and others that matched the Air Jordan VI Infrared. Here’s a look at a set of nylon zip-ups, warm-up pants, and sweatshirts that go hand in hand with one of the greatest model + colorway combos of all time – the Air Jordan V (5) Grape.

The alternate colored panels, piping accents, and the Flight logo sitting atop a weathered frame graphic were all fitting of that time, but this collection of vintage Air Jordan apparel designed for the early 90′s seems to show no age. Back when Air Jordans were primarily used as performance shoes, the gaudy design and exorbitant amount of coloring matched perfectly with the breakthrough design of the Air Jordan V. Take a trip down memory lane (for some of you at least) and check out the gallery of great vintage Air Jordan apparel after the jump. Images via Flattophitop.

Nike SB Spring 2011 Preview

Here’s an advanced look at the Nike SB footwear line heading for a Spring 2011 releases; another colorway of the Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar in suede and a gum sole arrives alongside a Nike SB Zoom Bruin with similar materials. Not many changes arrive on the Salazar and Bruin, unlike the Nike SB Blazer, which received a noticeable customization at the hands of Brian Anderson as a result of Nike SB’s Custom Series. A nice blue/brown colorway arrives in January 2011, and we should expect more Blazer CS colorways as well. However this February 2011 Nike SB Dunk Low in black, purple, and white doesn’t feature Koston’s CS ideas, but more Dunk CS colorways could be on the way. Check out the four great colorways set for Spring 2011 releases and let us know what you think. via N-SB.

Nike Air Max Tricky Premium Sample on eBay

The Nike Air Max Tricky was introduced in late 2008 and getting the public to like these was, well, tricky. The Air Max 1 midsole is surely a welcome guest but the upper construction featured a mish-mash of materials and designs that did not flow: A quilted front end with a synthetic center panel and a Nike Shox R4 -like “nose” were featured in the Tricky but the parts never added up. The Air Max Tricky appeared to be an Air Max shoe designed for action sports, with a seemingly chunkier build and a design fitting the sport genre; however after its initial release, the Tricky was buried and very few colorways followed. This sample pair of the Nike Air Max Tricky in brown, tan, and blue just surfaced so you can buy them from shimaman on eBay.

SBTG x Aristocrat x Nike Dunk Low + Blazer Black Saigon Customs

The next chronicle of the heralded customs by SBTG involves a partnership with San Jose-based Aristocrat and the Nike Dunk Low and Nike Blazer.Titled “Black Saigon”, the inspiration behind these latest customized sneakers is the graffiti marked on zippo lighters by soldiers during the Vietnam War. The engravings give a sense of darkness, restlessness, despair, and even shades of hope, and SBTG’s sublime touch captured those emotions on the Nike Dunk and Nike Blazer using dark, weathered tones. The Nike Dunk features a military-grade zipper cover while the Blazer features camo-print Starks laces, but the aforementioned design cues are just the tip of a massive iceberg of creative artistry. Only 8 pairs of the Nike Blazer and 7 of the Dunk were produced exclusively for Aristocrat, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll give you more info as it develops. Continue on for an extensive gallery detailing the design of the shoe and let us know what you think of these latest SBTG customs.
