Marshall Mathers is better known as Eminem, the lyricist that took mainstream hip-hop by storm in the late 90′s and established himself as one of the greatest MCs of all time. He’s also recognized for his affinity for Air Jordans and Nikes, as he’s been seen in Air Maxes and other Jordan heat on album covers, photoshoots, and live performances. He’s also one of the few celebrity sneakerheads that has an ongoing collection of personal Nike colorways, like the Slim Shady x Nike Air Burst or the Eminem Air Jordan II. Every day is a footwear moment for Eminem, from the True Blue Air Jordan III he wore for an album promo poster or the many Air Max runners he wears on stage and the streets. Check out Eminem and his kicks after the jump and check out the entire featureover at Complex.

We got a look at this new Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski last month, which looked to have been updated from an earlier sample version. The Festive Green Janoskis had a black piping and stitching on the upper, and were a little limey-er than the version you see above, which apparently has reverted to the original sample design. These are now Pine Green Janoskis, and the only accent shade on their emerald suede uppers is that lovely just-off-white known as ‘Sail’. Check out more shots after the jump and grab these from select Nike SB retailers including Flatspot.

We saw the first new Nike N7 sneaker in a while earlier today, and it seems as though not only is the original N7 colorway back, but it looks dope with a few alterations. Check out these new Nike N7 Free 5.0 V4 runners. The women’s edition mirrors the aforementioned Zoom BB II with a mix of black, white, red and the crystal blue ‘Cayman’ shade. The men’s joint has all of these and more, adding a mostly purple upper to let the others work as accents. Support sports in Native American and Aboriginal communities in the USA and Canada when you buy these from NikeStore.

We first laid eyes on the Air Jordan One6 One7 during Atlanta Hawks regular season games, as long-time Jordan Brand ambassador Mike Bibby wore two great Player Exclusive colorways matching the Hawks uniforms. Later, Ray Allen also got his One6 One7 on during the NBA Finals as well by wearing some of his own PEs during the first few games, including his record-setting Game 2 performance. Jordan Brand has released a brief video giving a quick overview of the low-cut version of the Air Jordan XVI x Air Jordan XVII hybrid, touting the full-grain leather upper and visible Zoom Air. Check out the vid after the jump and watch for the Air Jordan One6 One7 to drop at Jordan retailers in July.

Vans’ latest drop features two pairs that incorporate a pattern that while generic, is typically associated with a single Nike design. These Vans Half Cabs are unique for their use of a grid pattern on the side panels, similar to what you might see on the Nike Air Mariah and its Lunar update. But the Steve Caballero signature predates those Swoosh kicks, and its fitting to see them in simple colorways like black/white and grey/white. These are out now in Japan at retailers like VA so stick with Sneaker News for updates on a possible US release.

Earlier this morning, John Wall, the projected #1 overall pick of the 2010 NBA Draft, was officially introduced by Reebok as the brand’s primary endorsee of the Reebok Basketball line. News of John Wall’s signing with Reebok caused a shocking rumble but this partnership first began in 2007, when Reebok invited John Wall to the Reebok Break Out Camp. The potential Reebok saw in John Wall has manifested itself into a superstar in the making, and the footwear brand showed no hesitation in offering John Wall a generous contract and a guaranteed signature shoe line.
Not long ago, John Wall worked out with the Washington Wizards while sporting the Reebok Zig Slash, Reebok’s latest Zig Tech-infused basketball shoe set for a release later this year. Today’s news conference and photo op features Wall in two different Wizards-inspired colorways of the Zig Slash as well as new Reebok Zig Basketball apparel andit was confirmed that he will be the first NBA player to wear Reebok’s Zig technology on NBA hardwood; this partnership will definitely put Reebok back on the basketball map dominated by its two main competitors, Nike and adidas. John Wall now joins an impressive super-star caliber collection of endorsees from other sports, such as Peyton Manning, Sidney Crosby, Thierry Henry, and Tim Lincecum among others. As is the case with the new AJ Alpha 1, the Jordan Alpha Trunner represents an update to one of Jordan Brand’s classic designs. Instead of going all the way back as with the AJ Alpha 1s, though, the Trunner traces its heritage back to the JB/Nike split, back around 1997. With the Alpha Trunner, there’s a new lacing system anchored by a carbon fiber-like material, which gives these the look of a more aggressive Nike Air Presto. These are done in normal shoe sizes, though, and just dropped at Finishline, so head there to pick up your pair.

Last week Sneaker News reported a first look into next year’s Air Max installment, the Nike Air Max 2011. As expected, the upper was completely redesigned but what caught our readers by surprise was the implementation of Nike’s all-new Fuse material and the shedding of Flywire that was featured on nearly all of Nike’s performance shoes. Here’s another look at the Nike Air Max 2011, with a focus on the sea of colorways that are scheduled for release; you’ll see a number of uni-color uppers and a few with different colors in the double layers, like the black over silver and grey over red. There’s a ton more to see so continue reading for a look at the Air Max 2011 colorways and stick with Sneaker News for more developing info. via chajinyoung.

If you think you’ve had your fill of the Air Jordan IX (9), think again; not long ago the White/University Blue pair dropped (an applaudable attempt at the Powder Blue retro) and the OG White/Black-True Red hasn’t released yet, but here’s another look at the Dark Charcoal Air Jordan IX that is set to drop later this year. Unlike the “Powder Blue” retro, these stay true to the original colorway, from the dark charcoal mudguard, black upper and midsole, and True Red trim. There’s been a ton of Air Jordan IX Retros already, and we’re still awaiting the Black/Citrus pair as well as the limited For The Love Of The Game Air Jordan IX. Check out these new images and stick with Sneaker News for more details; if you’re the impatient type, Marquee Sole has a full size run available early.

Chris Paul’s future as a New Orleans Hornet is up in the air as we ready for tomorrow’s NBA Draft, but it’s clear where his footwear loyalties lie. The Air Jordan CP3 Tribute is a clever blending of Paul’s third Jordan Brand signature with the groundbreaking Air Jordan III. You get the overall design of the Jordan CP3.III plus the iconic Elephant print and AJIII lacing system for a seamless look that JB appropriately dubs “A unique performance heritage shoe.” Click the jump below to see a 360-degree video look at the Air Jordan CP3 Tribute.

In all the previews leading up to Nike Sportswear’s Omega Pack, we never once saw any inklings that the Big Windowed 1991 runner would be included. There were several Air Max 1 and Air Maxim 1s, even an AM90 Current Moire from the start, but only now do we see that the updated Nike Air BW Gen II has been added to the mix. Two new pairs are available today, with one pairing Liquid Lime and Obsidian, while the other goes for Bred with a splash of grey. Both of them feature Torch ventilation and flexible Free forefoot soles, and you can grab em from NikeStore.

Chukkas were all the rage last year when Jordan Brand relesed their Campus model, but its successor has gone in a totally unique direction. We’ve never seen a full-on side panel gusset on a Nike/JB sneaker before, but the Jordan V.2 Grown manages to come off smooth like Pete Rock when sampling the Chelsea boot’s ‘entrance’. The black joints picutred above look dope thanks to a nice clean suede upper, and the only branding is a ‘Wings’ logo on the lateral midsole. Grab a pair at select JB retailers like Extra Butter or get yours now on eBay.
