Air Jordan IX (9) Retro Black Dark Charcoal True Red | September 2010

If you think you’ve had your fill of the Air Jordan IX (9), think again; not long ago the White/University Blue pair dropped (an applaudable attempt at the Powder Blue retro) and the OG White/Black-True Red hasn’t released yet, but here’s another look at the Dark Charcoal Air Jordan IX that is set to drop later this year. Unlike the “Powder Blue” retro, these stay true to the original colorway, from the dark charcoal mudguard, black upper and midsole, and True Red trim. There’s been a ton of Air Jordan IX Retros already, and we’re still awaiting the Black/Citrus pair as well as the limited For The Love Of The Game Air Jordan IX. Check out these new images and stick with Sneaker News for more details; if you’re the impatient type, Marquee Sole has a full size run available early.

Color: Black/Dark Charcoal-True Red

Air Jordan CP3 Tribute Inside Look

Chris Paul’s future as a New Orleans Hornet is up in the air as we ready for tomorrow’s NBA Draft, but it’s clear where his footwear loyalties lie.  The Air Jordan CP3 Tribute is a clever blending of Paul’s third Jordan Brand signature with the groundbreaking Air Jordan III.  You get the overall design of the Jordan CP3.III plus the iconic Elephant print and AJIII lacing system for a seamless look that JB appropriately dubs “A unique performance heritage shoe.”  Click the jump below to see a 360-degree video look at the Air Jordan CP3 Tribute.

Nike Air BW Gen II Omega Pack | Available

In all the previews leading up to Nike Sportswear’s Omega Pack, we never once saw any inklings that the Big Windowed 1991 runner would be included.  There were several Air Max 1 and Air Maxim 1s, even an AM90 Current Moire from the start, but only now do we see that the updated Nike Air BW Gen II has been added to the mix.  Two new pairs are available today, with one pairing Liquid Lime and Obsidian, while the other goes for Bred with a splash of grey.  Both of them feature Torch ventilation and flexible Free forefoot soles, and you can grab em from NikeStore.

Jordan Grown V.2 Black | Available

Chukkas were all the rage last year when Jordan Brand relesed their Campus model, but its successor has gone in a totally unique direction.  We’ve never seen a full-on side panel gusset on a Nike/JB sneaker before, but the Jordan V.2 Grown manages to come off smooth like Pete Rock when sampling the Chelsea boot’s ‘entrance’.  The black joints picutred above look dope thanks to a nice clean suede upper, and the only branding is a ‘Wings’ logo on the lateral midsole.  Grab a pair at select JB retailers like Extra Butter or get yours now on eBay.

Nike WMNS Sweet Classic High Livestrong | Bicycle Print

The other day Sneaker News showed you a playful take on the Nike Livestrong campaign in the form a Nike Sweet Classic Low that features a bicycle graphic on the midsole. The women’s take on this idea also comes in the form of the Nike Sweet Classic but in a high-top; the bright varsity maize upper features the same bicycle graphic (look carefully!) in all-over print fashion, with a Livestrong tab adjacent to the uppermost laceholes and a great “Hope” logo on the tongue. This latest pair of the Nike Livestrong product line just dropped at Finishline.

Nike Zoom BB II Low Trash Talk N7 Edition | Available

Nike N7 is committed to “bring sport and all of its benefits to Native American and Aboriginal communities in the USA and Canada.”  It started with the Nike Huarache 09 and luckily for fans of the original, it has spawned its owned nicknamed colorway.  The N7 edition Nike Zoom BB II Low Trash Talk applies the black, white, red and soft blue combo to a design resurrected from 2008 and an upper that’s been recycled from scraps.  Fitting to see Steve Nash’s signature matched with a good cause, these N7 Zoom BB IIs are available now from NikeStore.

Coolrain x Puma Legends of Unity Figurines

In February, New Yorkers were treated a historic art experience provided by African-born artist Kehinde Wiley and Puma; the event featured ‘Legends of Unity’ in which notable footballers from the continent wore special kits that symbolize the unity among the African countries. Coolrain, a Korean toy designer, was given the opportunity to create figurines of the three soccer players that were part of the Legends of Unity event; John Mensah (Ghana), Samuel Eto’o (Camerooon) and Emmanuel Eboue (Ivory Coast) were transformed into collectible toys and put up for exhibition. The toys are not available for purchase, but you can check them out by looking at the gallery of pics after the jump. It’s a definite treat considering we’re in the middle of World Cup frenzy! via Streething/crazytoyz

Nike 6.0 Dunk Low SE Canvas New Colorways @ 21 Mercer

Like it or not, the Nike Dunk Low was one of the firestarters of the sneaker culture boom of the post-Y2K era, with the great City Attack series and the Nike SB Dunk Low acting as prime examples of Dunk royalty. The Nike 6.0 Dunk Low SE was introduced earlier this year as part of the Nike 6.0 action sports line-up. It features the familiar Nike Dunk upper but with a vulcanized midsole and a canvas upper and three new colorways of the 6.0 Dunk Low SE just dropped at 21 Mercer. A classic black-white, a tropical yellow and turquoise on a grey base, and a Purple/Metallic Silver are available, so hit up 21 Mercer to cop a pair.

Nike Air Max Tailwind+ 2 White Grey Black Volt | Available

Here’s a new colorway for the Nike Air Max Tailwind+ 2 (aka Tailwind 2010) that’s sure to have its fair share of fans.  Neon green/yellow is a huge color at the moment, and there’s no better colors to pair it with than the balance-giving white/grey/black combo.  The toecap and heel counter on these is a glossy black, and even though that’s quite eye-catching, chances are you’ll focus in on the Volt colored honeycomb Max Air unit.  Click the jump below for more images and grab a pair from StepToRun on eBay.

Color: White/Black-Neutral Grey-Volt
