Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium Black Light Bone | Available

The white-on-white Nike Air Force 1 is a quintessentially ‘summer’ shoe, but you can look just as fresh going the opposite route.  These new Uptowns are nearly all black, but there’s a healthy portion of white hits as well.  The most unique of these ‘blank’ contrasts is the pattern that appears on the rear quarter and side panels, which looks something like a beaded curtain or maybe a spiderweb.  In any case, these pinstriped AF1 Lows are ready to go and you can cop them from select Nike Sportswear retailers including Caliroots’ Six Feet Down specialty store.

Air Jordan Team Iso Quai 54 Black Varsity Maize

The Boston Celtics very well might have lost their shot at a second NBA title in three years because of too much isolation in the later stages of Game 7, but don’t tell Jordan Brand that ‘team’ and ‘iso’ play can’t be the same style.  The Air Jordan Team Iso is a curiously named sneaker whose high end design makes you wonder what the next Air Jordan Franchise model will look like.  It also gives us a sneak peek into this year’s special Quai 54 colorup, which will apparently be a simple mix of black and Varsity Maize with a little white thrown in for good measure.  Take a look at more angles after the jump and let us know if the Quai 54 Team Iso has you excited for a stateside release.  via Kinetics

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV White Black Red + Grey Purple | Available

LeBron James broke his Playoff tradition of wearing he Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier and went with the LeBron VII P.S., a second signature shoe designed for LeBron’s postseason play. LeBron and his Cavs didn’t enjoy the end result (they were sent packing in Round 2) so who knows what would’ve happened if LeBron wore the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV? They haven’t released in the states just yet but two colorways are now available on Nikestore UK; White/Red/Black as well as an interesting combo of Grey/Purple/White are now available for purchase across the pond, but Sneaker News will let you know when these hit the states. For now, check out these new images of the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV, available now at Nikestore UK.

Jordan CP3 Tribute Black Cement Grey Varsity Red White

The other day Sneaker News showed you one of the colorways of the Jordan CP3 Tribute, a clever mix of the third Air Jordan and Chris Paul shoe. This new colorway of Black, Cement Grey, Varsity Red, and White keeps it even closer to the vest; we don’t need to tell you which Air Jordan III colorway this emulates. In fact, the entire CP3 tribute just looks like an updated version of the Air Jordan III, just with a CP3 logo on the tongue, the honey-combed traction on the bottom sole, and of course the speckled midsole. Check out the detailed images after the jump and let us know if you think this ‘Tribute’ is worthy of Michael Jordan. via Dunk.

Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Comet Red White Del Sol

Fresh off the heels of Kobe Bryant’s fifth NBA Championship is this new colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) in Comet Red, White, and Del Sol. In a seemingly China-inspired colorway, this colorway of the Zoom Kobe V could be worn by the Chinese National Team during the FIBA World Championships or the World Basketball Festival that is set to go down in mid-August. The colorway is also nearly identical to the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 seen on Yi ianlian’s feet during the Nike Fall 2010 Basketball Showcase, so the China connection is even more logical. Check out this new colorway after the jump and stick to Sneaker News for more info. via Marqueesole.

NBA Finals: NBA Finals 2010 Game 7 Recap

After 105 grueling games, the Los Angeles Lakers once again hoisted the NBA Championship trophy above their heads, celebrating a deserving reward after a hard-fought journey. In what might’ve been the most competitive and gut-wrenching NBA Finals since the Knicks/Rockets series in ’94, the Lakers and Celtics took the scenic route by going the complete seven games and bringing the finale down to the wire. It wasn’t a pretty affair; Kobe’s FG% wouldn’t have been better off as a batting average, the team’s free-throw shooting appeared to be a haunting of Shaquille O’neal, and at times, the offense looked less LA Lakers and more LA Sparks. But by the game clock ticked down to zero, Kobe fist-pumped and kissed his daughters, Ron Artest thanked his psychiatrist, and Derek Fisher cried tears of joy (again). The Zen-master Phil Jackson looked cool, calm, and collected, apparently desensitized by the first ten he’s already amassed.

But the NBA Finals is truly the Big Stage for Kobe Bryant – it’s where he shines his brightest and leads his team to victory even when his shooting is not up to par. Kobe, in the Nike Zoom Kobe V Big Stage, grabbed 15 boards and dictated the offense by drawing double teams and making the proper outlet passes, making an impact in other facets of the game. Derek Fisher hit a clutch three, Pau Gasol was all over the boards, and Ron Artest’s reputation as a defensive stalwart showed itself once again. The Boston effort can’t be overlooked; the Celtics were up for most of the game thanks to Kevin Garnett’s solid play and Rasheed Wallace’s low-post performance. Rajon Rondo and his bright-green Nike Hyperfuse PE covered the entire floor, although Ray Allen and the new colorway of his Air Jordan Icons PE was somewhat of a no-show.

Sneaker News’ ongoing coverage of NBA Feet now comes to an end for this season, but be sure to check back as we review the best kicks seen on the NBA hardwood from the 2009-2010 campaign. Continue on for a full gallery of Game 7 of the NBA Finals and let us know if this was one of the best Game 7s you’ve seen. via Yahoo!.

Nike Air Pippen II Eggplant

The Nike Air Pippen II re-released some time ago but a “new” colorway is about to hit us soon. That’s right: Varsity Purple, or better recognized by the Eggplant nickname, has now pervaded Scottie Pippen territory, as a Nike Air Pippen II Eggplant colorway is set to release with a rumored limited release. A Foamposite upper doesn’t seem likely, but instead a synthetic material with a Foamposite feel – much like that of the Eggplant Big Nike High or the Nike Blazer inspired by the Nike Air Foamposite line. The Pippen II was a popular shoe with a simple design and jeweled swoosh, and this new colorway should definitely have retro-basketball heads talking again. Check out the extra images after the jump and let us know what you think. via heizhushoes.

Nike Zoom Uptempo V Premium Metallic Silver White Chrome

The Nike Zoom Uptempo V didn’t change physically but the name sure has; once called the Nike Zoom Flight V, the Zoom Uptempo V returns in this dazzling colorway fit for outer space. A metallic silver upper with a white trim and Chrome pod make up the shoe which surely can’t go by unnoticed. Jason Kidd wore these in the 90′s and he can break this new pair out – so long as the Mavericks bring back those hideous shiny silver alternate uniforms they revealed for the ’03-’04 season. Check out the details after the jump and pick up a pair over at Kinetics.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Miles Davis | Available on eBay

It looks like the ‘Photo Blue’ Nike Zoom Kobe V has undergone another transformation.  It showed up back in March and the initial samples showed a monochromatic blue upper with extra texture thanks to the embedded Flywire strands.  About a month later, Foot Locker reported a July 2010 release date and showed us that the ‘overlay’ sections had added a pebbled texture similar to the surface of a basketball.  Well now they’ve come full circle, and the Photo Blue ZKV is back to an even finish for its upper.  No matter the shading, these are Kind of Blue, which explains why they’re called ‘the Miles Davises’ .  Let us know which version you think is best, and cop the Miles Davis Zoom Kobe Vs a couple weeks early from JBseller on eBay.

Collections: Ryan from the Philippines

With sneaker collections, it’s not always about what you have and how many you have, but how you show it off. The last two collections we showed you – Bossing and 23BB – displayed two opposite spectrums of the collections storage methods. Bossing had great wall displays and glass housings while 23BB kept his simple by storing his kicks in their respective boxes against the wall. No disrespect to either of ‘em, but this latest collection by Ryan of the Philippines might have both of them beat – from a display standpoint. Ryan has all of his Air Jordan displayed in boutique-like wall units with back-lit walls and ceiling-mounted lighting, but he keeps this modern display down to Earth by packing each of his beloved pairs in trusty Zip-log bags. Three heat-filled collections, three different methods of storage. It’s a matter of preference for each sneakerhead, but its clear Ryan prefers the flashier things. Continue reading for a complete look at this collection and you tell us which collection comes out on top in a battle royale between Bossing, 23BB, and Ryan. via yourdailydoseofmarc.

Classics Revisited: Nike Air Zoom GP Black Neon Yellow Varsity Red 1999

During a decade in which seven-footers and a man named Michael ruled the realm, Gary Payton helped transform a Northwestern team from young talented squad to Western Conference Champions in a remarkably short span. Equipped with a defensive skill-set matched only by the rigor of his trash-talking mouth, Gary Payton led the then Seattle Sonics to the ‘96 NBA Finals and duked it out with Michael Jordan and the 72-10 Bulls for six games. Payton was amidst the peak of his career – a peak longer than most NBA players – and remained one of the best point guards in the league for another seven seasons since that ’96 Finals appearance. In 1998, Gary Payton was finally appointed his own signature line with Nike and a year later, the Nike Air Zoom GP was unveiled. Continue on to Sneaker News HD for a high-def gallery as well as a brief overview of this classic.

Air Jordan XIV Eddie Jones Memphis Home PE

Vin Baker’s Jumpman Pro Strong just got a retro release, and here’s a look at another Jordan Brand sneaker from one of their OG endorsement team.  After his signatures from the late ’90s, Eddie Jones rocked several different Air Jordan franchise models, including this Air Jordan XIV PE from his time as a Memphis Grizzly.  These are the ‘stitched’ style AJXIVs, with lines of perforations running parallel to monochromatic stitching on the white leather side panels.  ‘EJ’ embroidery on the inner ankle lets you know these are legit NBA PEs from a time when you couldn’t get them at, say, House of Hoops.  A dope look for any Air Jordan completist, these are available slightly used in EJ’s size 13 from sole_supreme on eBay.
