Nike Air Max 95 Neutral Grey Chlorine Blue | Spring 2011

SNEAKERNEWS.COM EXCLUSIVE

True Air Max 95 heads must’ve been happy with the wave of OG-esque colorways (black-grey-enter color here) that dropped last summer, and earlier this year, we also got retros of the Comet Air Max 95 and a close-enough version of the Slate Blue colorway. Now this upcoming women’s colorway may not be an original, but the Chlorine Blue and reverse gradient on the upper is reminiscent of another OG colorway – the Pool Blue WMNS Air Max 95. The upper is a very light grey with darker shades of grey on the “muscle fibers”, and the chlorine blue absolutely pops out in contrast – perhaps the lighter tones of grey make these Chlorine 95s more in common with the Blue Wave WMNS Air Max 95 rather than the Pools. Regardless of whatever comparison you’d like to make, these upcoming WMNS Ninety-Fives are sweet to say the very least. Check out the extra pics after the jump and expect these to hit Nike retailers in Spring 2011.

Nike SB July 2010 Apparel + Accessories

Earlier today we got a look at the Nike SB July 2010 footwear lineup, and as is the case each month, the Swoosh skate division will also release a range of complimentary clothing and accessories.  The Nike SB apparel collection this month sticks to the basics, offering some staple products just in time to meet your summer skateboarding needs.  There’s a Dri-Fit Icon Tee with the standard logo done in a colorway to match this month’s Omar Salazars, while two SB Blender Tees offer a comic twist on the aforementioned insignia.  Two different t-shirts offer photo-realistic rectangular graphics, while a trio of full-zip hoodies go with a simple embroidered logo at the chest.  There are two new canvas D-ring belts and two new all-black backpacks on the way as well, so click the jump below to peruse the entire collection and head out to purchase any or all of this gear from your local Nike SB retailer.

Nike SB Dunk High + Low July 2010

They might not be connected to any famous names or represent a collaboration of any kind, but the latest Nike SB Dunk High and Low Pros are nothing to sneeze at.  These came up like a sudden aah-chu and caught us by surprise though, lacking any of the hype that typically accompanies the SB Dunk line.  Both pairs feature outlined Swooshes, with the lows adding double layering to compliment an orange-piped rear quarter/heel, while the red/black/gold joints hold their own as July’s Quickstrikes.  Act fast on these; Kix-Files has them up for pre-order with a ship date set for the middle of next week.

Frank 151 Pieces: Gourmet

Everything we do is top quality and the best of the best materials from around the world.

Gourmet’s delicious Italian-American-inspired designs lend themselves to the kind of promo video you’d not likely see from one of the major footwear companies.  Jon Buscemi and Greg Johnsen, two thirds of Gourmet’s founding team, were recently filmed in a well-equipped sunny kitchen, putting their own premium twist on a classic Italian dish.  During the course of whipping together a mouth-watering lobster parm sandwich, Jon and Greg discussed the founding of their brand and where it’s headed.  The sandwiches turned out great and you get a look at what’s to come from a brand who looks to provide an alternative in the ever-growing lifestyle sneaker market.  Click the jump below to watch the video in its entirety.

Nike Air Force II Low Black Yellow + Black White Aqua

The Nike Air Force II hasn’t seen many releases over the years but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the AF2 is a true classic. Featuring a more “high-tech” design than the originator of Force – the Nike Air Force 1 – the Air Force 2 was introduced in 1987 and was retroed in various colorways over the years. These two new colorways of the Black/Yellow and a Tiffany-like mix of Black, White, Aqua, and some Dark Grey feature a special tongue-tag and insole. Check out the two new colorways after the jump and head on over to JDSports to cop your pairs because they’ll only be available there!

Jordan Rare Air Olympic Edition

Yesterday Sneaker News showed you a FIBA World Championship Edition of the Jordan Rare Air; the USA inspired colorway featured a perfect mix of obsidian, red, white, and grey to match the USA uniforms. Here’s another colorway of Jordan Rare Air with a “World” theme – an Olympic Edition of the Rare Air. The colorway is very similar to the Air Jordan VI (6) Olympic colorway that dropped in the summer of 2008; a white upper mixed with a midsole comprised of the colors of the Olympic Rings – red, yellow, green, blue, and black. The Olympic Rare Air also features some use of patent leather like the Olympic AJ VI. Continue reading for a gallery of detailed shots of this new colorway. via taobao.

Nike SB July 2010 Footwear Releases

A new month means a new set of footwear from Nike SB.  July features an even mix of subtle and crazy looks from the Swoosh skateboarding department, so let’s have a gander at the whole set.  On the calmer side of things, we have two new Nike SB Dunks designed by skater and artist Neil Blender, a High and a Low both inspired by OG colorways of the late ’80s/early ’90s Airwalk Enigma.  The hightops from the ‘Chromeball Incident’ pack have a scissors embroidery, while the latest Blazer SB CS actually rises to the mid-ankle height common for cut-off skate kicks.

The Blazer Low’s SB replacement, the Nike Zoom Bruin SB is back in the simplest of all colorways: black/white, with Stefan Janoski’s signature also appearing in a two-toned colorway whose pine green upper matches the vibrancy of summer foliage.  Last but certainly not least is fellow SB rider Omar Salazar’s signature in a purple/green colorway that’s far more skate-friendly than the similarly hewn Dinosaur Jr. collabo from a few months back.  Click the jump below for shots of the entire range and check for these at your local Nike SB retailer.
