Air Jordan 1 Retro High Wolf Grey Spice | Available

It kinda sounds like something you’d expect to see during the winter holidays, but Jordan Brand/Nike’s new ‘Spice’ shade of red has shown itself to be quite versatile.  It skewed toward orange when in the presence of teal contrasts on a pair of Flight 45 Highs and now looks like the more familiar red that you’d expect to see on an Air Jordan 1 Retro High.  These add Wolf Grey to the underlay for a nice two-toned upper, making for one of the best AJ1s all year.  These AJ1s are out now at Japanese retailer Chapter Express, or you can find them on eBay.

Nike Air Max 1 QS OG Blue | Available on eBay

If someone mentioned ‘OG Nike Air Max 1‘, you’ve got a 50/50 chance of conjuring an image of this pair pictured above.  One of the original 87s along with a pair with Sport Red instead, these Varsity Blue AM1s have stood the test of time.  They dropped last year as a Quickstrike, and it’s a QS drop this time as well, but at least you have a chance to grab a pair this time around.  They’re available at select Nike Sportswear retailers including JBseller on eBay.

Nike WMNS Lunar Presto Rejuven8 Julep Sunbeam White

We’ve been showing you some great mens colorways of this hybrid running shoe, so how’s about one for the ladies? Check out this new colorway of the Nike Lunar Presto Rejuven8 for women featuring a pleasant seasonal mix of julep, sunbeam, and white, a trio of lighter tones fit for the summer. Julep and Sunbeam sounds like its short of crushed ice and a splash of vodka or gin of a great cocktail, doesn’t it? Check out the detailed pics after the jump and pick these up now at Finishline.

Reebok BB4600 Hi Summer 2010 Colorways

The Reebok BB4600 High is a basketball shoe from the ’80s whose new colorways are both just a bit off from matching the NBA Finals competitors, who coincidentally, started their rivalry around the same time.  If it was sunny out, you might mistake the white pair of BB4600s for a Lakers home look, but when you get in range, it’s navy blue instead of purple.  Meanwhile, the black pair has a sort of alternate Celtics look to it, but even those rarely used unis don’t include any grey.  Whether you’re in LA, Boston or anywhere in between, here’s a retro b-ball look that’s street friendly, and they should hit stateside RBK retailers soon.  via Dunk

Nike Air Flight Falcon Black Grey Chrome

It was March when we last showed you the Nike Air Flight Falcon, an Flight basketball shoe that looked like a hybrid between the classic Air Flight ’89 and Air Tech Challenge II. This new colorway features all black with hints of grey and a nice Chrome lace-harness on the uppermost lace hole. We don’t see many Nike Flight releases so the emblem from the early 90′s adds a nostalgic touch to this old-meets-new model. This new colorway just dropped at Finishline so head there to snag a pair.

Air Jordan Take Flight Black Varsity Red | Holiday 2010

The Air Jordan Take Flight is truly a leap to a new level, as it employs design elements never before seen in previous Air Jordans models. First and foremost, it’s the basketball-specific full-length 360-Air Unit sitting prettily on the midsole, with brackets covering parts of the Air. Then there’s the high-angling ankle as well as the flowing lines on the upper. Are we describing an Air Max Hyperize x Air Max 95 x Jordan hybrid of some sort? The Air Jordan Take Flight is set to touch down later this year in four colorways, so check out the black/varsity red pair after the jump and let us know what other Nike shoes you see in this design. A size 9 sample is also available now from cigar0330 on eBay.

Celebrity Feet: Drake Visits 106 & Park

and Terrence J. hosted back to back episodes of BET’s 106 & Park this week to help promote Drizzy’s debut album, Thank Me Later. On the second day of Drake’s stint as co-host of the countdown show, Drake brought out a pair of Black Red Wing Boots while Terrence J. rocked a pair of the Nike Air Yeezy’s in Zen Grey. Terrence is the second celeb we’ve seen rocking this colorway of Air Yeezy’s in the past couple of weeks – the other celebrity being Common. Drake’s first album Thank Me Later officially released on June 15th and Drake was set to perform live at Pier 17 in South Street Seaport, but due to an unruly crowd, the show was cancelled (which, in turn, generated even more unruliness). Continue reading for a better look at both Drake and Terrence J’s shoes and let us know who had the better pair.

Nike Sportswear Fall/Winter 2010 WMNS Footwear Collection

Nike Sportswear’s upcoming footwear collection for the ladies is looking as promising as ever. The Nike Dunk High Skinny returns in some pleasant rustic colorways, but its a new material fashioned by Maraham that looks as soft as it feels. Completing the Sportswear capsule is the Nike Air Feather High – a higher cut Air Force 1 High that underwent liposuction – and the Nike Aqua Blazer, a high-cut water-ready rendition of the Blazer. Finally, the ladies will also be welcomed with the all-new Nike Lunar Storm boot, the Chukka Moc, as well as new colorways of the Nike WMNS Air Max Trainer 1. Nike Air Max 2011 Black Volt + White Blue

During the Nike Fall 2010 Basketball Showcase, emphasis was placed on the Nike Hyperfuse and the state-of-the-art “Fuse” material used to construct the upper. Fuse is an all-new one-piece material specifically engineered to give athletic shoes a lightweight advantage without compromising performance integrity. Essentially a stronger version of mesh, Fuse combines the breathability of mesh and the strength of an all-leather upper to give Fuse the ability to contain a foot while keeping it cool.

We’ve already seen Fuse on a basketball shoe and also a Trainer – the Nike Trainer Mid 1.2 Fuse – and now this first look at the Nike Air Max 2011 reveals use of Fuse on the upper as well. The Air Max 2009 and Air Max 2010 primarily featured Flywire and mesh-like materials on the upper but for the Air Max 2011, the third overall shoe with Full-length uncaged 360 Air Unit, Fuse has taken over the spotlight. For running, the two most important aspects of a great running shoe is breathability and lowered weight, and Fuse can offer just that. Combined with the 360-Air, the Nike Air Max 2011 Fuse could be Nike’s best Air Max running shoe to date. Continue reading for a better look at this upcoming shoe and let us know what Air Max shoe – 2009 vs. 2010 vs. 2011 – has the best overall design. via NT.
