Paul Rodriguez’ signature line continues to move away from chunky ’90s tech styling with the new Nike SB P-Rod IV High. The Street Dream star’s signature SB sneakers have become increasingly sleek and this new pair in royal blue and white sticks with a simple colorblocking scheme that belies the state-of-the-art smooth ride. Just a little red away from matching the LA Dodgers uniforms, these P-Rod 4s will hit retailers in Feburary 2011 as part of Nike SB’s Spring 2011 collection. via N-SB.org

It looks like we won’t have to wait until the start of the 2010-2011 NBA season to see the Jordan Rare Air on the court, because this new USA-inspired colorway of the Jordan Rare Air will probably debut during the FIBA World Championship Games during late August-early September. We could see Jordan Brand ambassadors Dwyane Wade, Gerald Wallace, or Carmelo Anthony wear this colorway during the games, although focus should be put toward the actual games because the U.S. showing at the last two World Championships were failures by U.S. Basketball standards (3rd place and non-medal finishes in 2006 and 2002, respectively). Check out the extra images of the Jordan Rare Air FIBA World Championship Edition after the jump and let us know what you think of this colorway. via Kenlu.

Hot on the heels of the all-white canvas Highs and Lows, here’s another Nike WMNS Dunk with shiny polka dots. These are hightops too, but the effect is considerably different because the magenta leather the dots rest upon have their own luster. That leather looks buttery smooth, and you’re in for a smooth ride with the Zoom Air cushioning that accompanies all Premium level Dunks. Check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the upcoming release. via Kinstor.

Gerald Wallace was rewarded with his first-ever NBA All-Star Game appearance back in February as the lone representative of the Jordan-owned Charlotte Bobcats team. Wallace blossomed once he got more playing time in Charlotte, although he was known for high-flying acrobatics during his days as a Sacramento King. During the All-Star Game, Gerald Wallace – alongside other JB representatives Joe Johnson and Dwyane Wade – wore a great Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 2010. It featured a deep blue patent leather upper with a snow-white bottom sole. Wallace has been a great addition to the Jordan Brand team, and we should expect more PEs once the ’10-’11 season rolls around. Check out the gallery if images after the jump; you can own this deadstock size 14 sample pair by bidding on this auction from solesupreme on eBay.
Update: These are confirmed to be a promo PE for Ray Allen (who was not a participant in the 2010 All-Star Game), not Gerald Wallace. Wallace is a size 15 shoe and his PE had patent leather on the toe. Wallace also wore a different colorway during the game.

USA soccer couldn’t make a fourth comeback in the 2010 World Cup, but it’s safe to assume the USA basketball squad will have a different fate come the FIBA World Championships in Turkey this August. Here’s a new colorway of a classic runner that would match either of their uniforms, the Nike Air Max 90. With a navy blue leather upper accented by white mesh plus hits of red and grey, this one is right on time with Independence Day just around the corner. They’ll be out next month at US Nike Sportswear retailers and are already available at Swiss store Titolo.

Two months ago Sneaker News showed you a preview of a trio of the Nike Toki ND with perforated uppers. One of the colorways was an all-white upper with a circumventing orange stripe sitting atop the midsole. Something about white perforated leather gives off the perfect summer vibe, much like the white perforated Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski that released no long ago. If you’re in need of a summer-shoe fix and chukkas are your style, grab these right now for under retail from shaolin8 on eBay.

If the Nike Royal Mid Macarons Pack wasn’t surprising enough, check out this new duo of the Nike Royal Mid in a diverse mock-up of materials. The first purple/blue colorway of the Nike Royal Mid VT features a wool-like material on the entire rear panel of the shoe, while the toe features the molded-leather seen on the Macarons Pack. The second patent leather and nubuck Nike Royal Mid was previewed before but both are available for purchase right now at 21 Mercer. Check out the extra pics after the jump.

Foot Locker changed their release date from Saturday to Thursday, but if you’re taking a long weekend to celebrate the Fourth, how will you get your hands on the Air Jordan IX Retro ‘Citrus’? One of the best non-Bulls colorways to come along in a good while, the Citrus Nines have already spawned an ‘Un-’ release in the form of the Quai54 limited release, but now you can get your hands on the black version a bit early. Kick back with a lemonade and enjoy the Holiday, knowing you got yours early from StepToRun on eBay.

In 2005, Jordan Brand released two pairs of the Air Jordan IV (4) that featured an awe-inspiring laser graphic on the upper. The lasering method was first introduced by Mark Smith and The Laser Project, which featured this meticulous “tattooing” on the Nike Air Force 1, Nike Dunk Low, and then later on the Air Jordan XX and others. The special lasering was brought again to the Air Jordan IV in two colorways; both shoes were online exclusives, and those with the quickest draw with the mouse clicker came away with a pair of his/her own. This unreleased sample of the Air Jordan IV in white, varsity red, and midnight navy also features the same lasering; before the actual release of the Air Jordan IV Laser, a few samples of laser IVs were created – including one in a royal blue suede – so this varsity red suede colorway is presumably one of the scrapped ideas during that time. Said to be one of only three pairs in existence, you can check out the detailed images of this sample after the jump, and if you’ve got some serious cash to drop on this size 9 sample, pick up this pair now from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.

The Nike ‘Think Pink’ campaign was launched to raise breast cancer awareness, and the vibrant, eye-catching colorway garnered a lot of positive attention for the cause. Think Pink was started in support of Kay Yow, the head basketball coach of the NC State Womens college basketball team, and since then, we’ve seen the pink treatment on a number of Nike Basketball shoes like the Nike Zoom Kobe IV and V, Nike Hyperize, and the Nike Hyperdunk. This upcoming colorway of the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 features the similar all-pink upper colorway with the Kay Yow Breast Cancer Fund logo on the tongue, making this the latest of the Nike Think Pink Collection. The Pinkfire Hyperdunk 2010 features a metallic pink upper with a white Nike branding on the heel bumper and a blue swoosh on the bottom sole. Continue reading for another look at the Think Pink Nike Hyperdunk 2010 and stick with Sneaker News for more release info on upcoming Hyperdunk 2010 colorways.
