Once the clock struck Midnight early Thursday morning, the feeding frenzy known as the 2010 NBA Free Agency began. A fistful of famished franchises fiending for a free-agent feast began their respective courtships of the top crop of unemployed NBAers, with LeBron James acting as the pièce de résistance. New York, Miami, and New Jersey are just some of the new teams vying for LeBron’s services; the Chicago Bulls, a team considered one of the front-running candidates, would be a great fit for LeBron, but would King James be willing to play in the shadow of Michael Jordan? Chicago Bulls fans challenged LeBron with this question: “Can you live up to a legend?”. A prominent advertisement agency sent LeBron James a mysterious package with an intriguing message, daring LeBron to fill in Michael Jordan’s shoes. In the package was a pair of Air Jordans – the Air Jordan Alpha 1 to be exact – adding a literal touch to the oft-used metaphor. Check out the shoes and package after the jump and let us know if you think LeBron has what it takes to fill in Michael’s shoes. via Yahoo!.
