If you thought the referees gave Michael Jordan special treatment, it could’ve been the other way around. Check out these super-rare Samples of the Air Jordan XI IE Low in black and red made exclusively for NBA referees; it features the same product style code as the OG “Bred” colorway but these samples feature a blacked out lower tier. The midsole is entirely black as is the bottom sole, which goes from translucent to opaque black. Most referee shoes are entirely black but these feature hints of red on the carbon fiber plate as well as the Jumpman branding on the tongue and the traction on the bottom sole. Check out the gallery of images after the jump because you probably won’t see these anywhere else in this condition, and if you really need to add these to your rare Jordans collection, try your bidding luck from this auction from mandingo_of_sneakers on eBay.
